Glow-in-the-dark donuts that you can eat

Recently, the world saw a sweet novelty - a donut that glows in the dark. The idea came to the head of the Australian confectioner Christopher Te, he also embodied it in life. Christopher explained that he simply wanted to rid the sweet tooth, who like to eat at night, from crumbs in bed.

Glowing dessert

This unusual dessert is served in the cafe Black Star Pastry (in Russian it is translated as "Confectionery from the Black Star").

Donuts, glowing in the dark, are called Glonuts ("swallows"). This is an abridged version of the full name in English - glow-in-the-dark donuts.

They look quite unusual, like a space object, buyers even experienced that donuts are radioactive!

But Christopher reassured them, saying that he, as the owner of the "Black Star", strictly monitors the quality of products and vouches that all of his products - cakes, cookies and, of course, donuts - are absolutely safe for health.

The secret of glowing delicacy is very simple. It's all about his glaze, in which a lot of vitamin B 2 is added. Its overabundance causes a glow effect. For health, this is not harmful.

Donuts have become very popular in Sydney.

Night comes, and in the cafe customers come, with pleasure chewing amazing sweets. By the way, "Black Star" also serves luminous cocktails.
