Gel nail polish - quality manicure for several weeks

This coating is durable and very durable, since the very substance of the gel contains a certain dispersion medium, which forms a structural grid on the nail plate. Gel varnish is available in two forms - light-sensitive (light-cured) and non-light sensitive. The first has all of the above advantages, allows you to easily care for yourself and processed, fast enough and tightly attached to the natural nail plate. Its main feature is application in several layers, each of which must dry under an ultraviolet lamp for a short period of time, under the influence of which the plate and gel coalesce into one. Such a gel nail polish should be kept under the UV light of a certain intensity (this is indicated on the package of the preparation), otherwise the result will not be too attractive - sticky and rubbery if the fixing level is insufficient or darkening and brittle when overdrying.

The second variant of varnishes is non-light sensitive, for curing and strengthening of which other methods are required - activating substances or a certain soaking in water. This varnish is similar to glue, for its application is used either an ordinary brush, as for a nail polish, or the tube itself, by means of which the agent is very thinly distributed throughout the nail plate. Finally, the non-light sensitive gel nail polish is coated with a drop of catalyst or a small amount of a special spray (in some cases, simple water is enough), after which a chemical reaction occurs and the manicure becomes firm for several weeks.

Modern technologies allow to exert such a strong influence on natural nails that they will be strengthened for several weeks, practically without damage as they grow. This is achieved by means such as gel-based lacquer, which is not applied directly to the nail plate, but on special fiberglass or silk lining used between the last two layers of the gel. This combination, elegant, beautiful and very strong, allows you to forget about the need to do a manicure for a long time. This is all the more interesting, since gel varnishes are not only of different colors, but can also be subjected to additional staining that does not harm it.

The advantages of lacquer on the gel basis in their attractive appearance, unpretentious care, and also the fact that in the overwhelming majority of cases it does not cause allergies and irritations on the skin of the hands. The gel has a healing effect on the nail plate, leveling it and excluding the possibility of diseases such as fungus. However, gel nail polish is fragile enough for temperature changes - in the cold time hands must be protected, since if the coating bursts, it will have to be removed and the work will be done anew.
