Fried cucumbers - spicy appetizer in oriental style

Few people know that the birthplace of the cucumber is India. In general, in the East, this vegetable was known even before our era. We have it appeared only in the ninth century and immediately gained great popularity. Now this juicy fruit has become for the usual product. With the onset of the season, the housewives tend to include it more often in the daily diet of their family. Basically, the cucumber is used to make fresh salads or as an additive to cold vegetable soups. At first glance, this nondescript green product may seem completely useless. Everyone knows that the cucumber is 95 percent water. But not everyone knows that the remaining 5 percent, in addition to the richest vitamin complex, contain almost the whole table of DI Mendeleev in their composition. Cucumber, in principle, is considered a dietary product. It is good to use on fasting days to control excess weight. But sometimes you want something unusual.

In the eastern kitchen, fried cucumbers have long been used to prepare snacks and salads. At first glance it looks, at least, unusual. But cooking is the science of experimentalists, who want to try everything. Tomatoes and eggplants are fried! So what is worse than cucumbers? There is a fairly simple recipe for snacks, the main component of which are fried cucumbers.

To make it, you need a small set of products: fresh cucumbers, salt, wheat flour (for breading), vegetable oil (for frying).

For refueling you need: sour cream and garlic.

The cooking process is extremely simple:

  1. Cucumbers must be cut into slices (small vegetables should be cut along).
  2. Shredded vegetables should be covered in a bowl, lightly seasoned and let stand for 10 minutes, so that the product is slightly soaked.
  3. Pieces of cucumbers roll in flour, and then fry in vegetable oil until a ruddy tender crust.
  4. To make the dressing, chop the garlic with a press and mix it with sour cream.
  5. Fried cucumbers put on a plate, top covered with cooked dressing.

It turns out very tasty. Cooked in this way fried cucumbers can be immediately served to the table or let them cool.

To create unusual snacks, you can use both fresh and salted vegetables. Sometimes the hostess opens a jar of pickles, but they can not be eaten immediately. Long time to stand such a product can not, and often have to throw spoiled vegetables. But there is a great way to use the remaining products! From them you can make a perfect mixture for sandwiches.

To do this, take: a couple of eggs, 6 cucumbers (you can take pickled), a glass of milk, rapeseed oil, wheat and corn flour

Is prepared quickly and simply:

  1. Cut the cucumbers into rings.
  2. Eggs beat up.
  3. Pour oil on a frying pan and put on fire.
  4. All products are arranged in separate plates.
  5. As soon as the oil boils, take a piece of cucumber and dab it alternately in each plate in the following sequence: milk - wheat flour - eggs - corn flour. Fry for 2 minutes on each side.

Finished pieces put on a clean napkin to remove excess fat. Fried salted cucumbers, cooked in this way, have an unforgettable taste, and the dish turns out to be quite high-calorie.

Cucumbers have a delicate aroma and are able to complement any dish. Even a photo of a cucumber already causes an appetite! Vegetables can simply be thinly sliced and put on a plate next to pieces of meat sliced. Fresh greenery of a juicy vegetable with droplets of moisture on the surface will favorably emphasize the pink color of the meat product. It seems that the fragrance is felt even from a distance. There are specialists who can make a simple cucumber salad a real decoration of the festive table. To do this, you just need to cut the cucumber into thin longitudinal strips, fold them and put them in a whimsical manner on the plate. From above the design can be decorated with greenery to your taste. You can just watch and enjoy these salads!

Human fantasy is capable of much. One should only not be afraid, throw aside the usual stamps and experiment more.
