You should start with a medium fire, gradually adding it in the process. After all the actions, excess oil is removed using paper napkins, which are laid out already prepared pieces of onions. The dish is served in a hot form.

Not less pleasant to taste and effective are a variety of first courses, if you add leeks in them. Recipes for several light and quick soup are presented below.

German soup of cheese and leek. Necessary ingredients:

- water volume of 2 liters;

- 3 medium-sized potatoes;

- a quarter kilogram of ground beef;

- 1 stem of fresh leek;

- 200 grams of any cheese (fused);

- a small amount of oil to fry minced meat;

- salt and pepper to taste.

First, sauté on low heat mince until ready. Then pour water into the pan, add minced meat and diced potatoes. The next step is the addition of crushed onions and cheese. The soup is stirred until it becomes completely homogeneous, after which it is boiled for a few minutes on low heat. Readiness is checked by the softness of the potato. In addition to all the listed ingredients, fresh or canned mushrooms (for example, champignons) or beans can be added to the dish. Taste from this in no way will suffer, but only acquire originality.

This vegetable is incredibly good in salads, which, in addition to the lack of extra calories, will supplement the diet with the necessary vitamins, because they are often lacking in observing the diet.
