The fate of Mathison was very unpredictable. It would seem that a girl who does not have a director's or scenario education should not have entered the world of big cinema. But it turned out quite the opposite.

Anna Mathison was born in far Irkutsk. She has two brothers - Timothy and Leonid. About the school hobbies the girl knows little, but after graduation she entered the Irkutsk State University on a specialty, not associated with the cinema.

The study was given to Anna easily, so she simultaneously decided to get a job at a local television company. By the time it was time to get a diploma, Matison was already the chief producer of software broadcasting. It so happened that at that time she was the only producer of this level in Russia, which had not yet turned 25 years old.

In 2004, Mathison became a co-founder of the company REC.production, which produced promotional films and videos. It was then that the young producer opened the truth about the fact that she does not really care about advertising, but she attracts a big movie.

Moving to Moscow

At 25, Anna Mathison "committed an act" and went to Moscow to receive a second higher education: she became a student of the scenic faculty of VGIK. By the way, VGIK director finished in 2013 with a red diploma.

The girl knew that she needed to start somewhere, so she created a script based on the work of Evgeny Grishkovets "The Mood Improved" and shot a short film. The famous actor and playwright was interested in this work, and he got in touch with Anna. As a result, in 2011, Matyson's debut full-length film "Satisfaction" appeared on the screens, in which Grishkovets not only starred in the title role, but also wrote the script in co-authorship with Anna.

According to the plot of the film, two men who love the same woman gather in one restaurant and drink there from evening to morning. First they try to "divide" the woman among themselves, then they understand that they do not like her at all, and turn to more philosophical topics for conversation. There are many dialogues in the film, but little action. That is why he was criticized by professional dramatists and directors.

Scenarios for films and directing work

Anna Mathison was not embarrassed by the criticism. Together with Yevgeny Grishkovets, they continue to cooperate to this day. The result of their joint work was a documentary series titled "Without a Script," a series of music videos. Also, Matison and Grishkovets wrote two plays: "House" and "Weekend." The play "Weekend" was staged in several theaters in Russia, as well as the theaters of the near abroad.

Matison took part in writing the script for the films "Fir-2", "Dog's Eyes", "Firs-3", "Milky Way", "Fir-trees 1914". Also, Mathison filmed many documentaries: "Musician", dedicated to the work of Denis Matsuev, as well as a number of films about the conductor Valeria Gergiev, the composers Shchedrin, Prokofiev, Berlioz and the choirmaster Michael Turetsky.

Mathison is not very extensible about his personal life. And even when her and Bezrukov were photographed on camera at the moment when they were following Moscow's hand and then uploaded this video to the Internet, nothing has changed: both Bezrukov and Mathison are silent about their relationship. It is known only that Sergei really left the family and no longer lives with Irina Bezrukova.
