Alexei Maresiev: a feat that went down in history

AP Maresiev - an example of will, courage, love of life. From his dream, he could not refuse, even when he lost his legs, he stubbornly walked to her, because he loved the sky. Never boasted of his victories, and did not consider them exploits. Alexei Petrovich simply could not and did not want to live in a different way.

Work is good

Alexei Maresiev, whose feat went down in history, was born in the land of the town of Kamyshin, which is on the Volga River, on May 20, 1916, the last, fourth child. Describing his brothers, he said that the elders were smart, but he went to the pilots. In three years Alexei was left without a father, he died from wounds, barely returning from World War I, working as a trench soldier. One mother was engaged in the education of the boys. The modest income of the cleaner of the woodworking factory and the strong-willed nature of the woman, who brought up four children alone, allowed the boys to learn to work, and also to understand what it means to live an honest life. At the end of his life, Alexei Maresiev, whose feat is an example for imitation, will name the main positive quality of a person - this is a conscientious attitude to work.

Health

The future Hero of the Soviet Union, the legendary pilot Maresiev (every student knows his exploit) as a child, did not shine with special health, rather the opposite. I said that I was like a Chinese, not a Russian boy, because I was sick with malaria year after year. In his youth, Alexei had serious problems with joints, they gave him a lot of suffering, the pain was so strong that he could not move. Tormented him and constant migraines. The exact diagnosis and no one has established. With such poor health, no flying military school even thought of, but he thought and dreamed.

Direction

At the end of the school, Alexey learns a metal turner in a school at a woodworking plant, where he begins his labor activity. Then he sends the documents to the Aviation Institute (MAI). The dream was to be realized, it is so close to it, but suddenly the district committee of the Komsomol of its native city directs it to build the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
Strongly angry, he answered heatedly that he would not go, he sent the documents to the MAI. To which he was offered to pass a Komsomol ticket. But Alex was not from a timid ten, took it and laid it on the table. But after returning home, I had to tell my mother everything, she was ideological, she cried and lamented for a long time. But everything turned out, fortunately, Alexei reassured his mother and went to the Komsomol cell.

Dream is reality

Maresyev Alexei Petrovich ... The feat will never forget his descendants, but how would his life be, do not go to the Far East? Would he be a pilot? Before leaving, Alexey passed a medical examination, a female doctor addressed him, motherly, saying that he might not go, but if he set foot on that land, all his illnesses would pass. Then Alexei thought that if he recovered, he would become a pilot. As the water looked ... After coming to the Far East, his health was on the mend. The climate helped, as Alexey Petrovich himself said.

Arriving at the site, Alexey worked as an ordinary logger, sawed the forest, built barracks, quarters, and simultaneously visited the flying club. Health has improved noticeably, and with it self-confidence has emerged. He made a lot of efforts to make the dream of becoming a professional pilot turned into reality.

Ensign

The first lessons he received on the Amur, then, after being drafted into the army in 1937, was sent to the 12th airborne submarine on Sakhalin Island, but he still could not fly. This happened only when he was admitted to the Bataysk Aviation School named after A. Serov. In 1940, he graduated in the rank of junior lieutenant and remains there to work as an instructor. In Bataysk, he receives the news of the war.

A. P. Maresiev: feat (short description)

In August 1941, he was sent to the South-Western Front, in August the first combat sortie took place. Initial experiments in the aviation school were not in vain, in early 1942 he was lucky in real combat. You probably already wonder what a feat was committed by Alexei Maresiev.

Strong aspiration for high professionalism gave its results, he was a good student and well mastered everything that the teachers said. Alexei Maresiev did the deed without hesitation: the downed German cars were going one after another. The first destroyed German Ju-52 plane opened an account of victories over the enemy, by the end of March, a talented pilot had already knocked down 4 enemy aircraft. Then it is forwarded to the North-Western Front.

Lust for life

In the beginning of April, a misfortune happened to a young pilot. The plane was hit, and the pilot himself was seriously wounded in the legs. While planning, he was going to sit on a forest swamp covered with snow, but the power of the plane was not enough, and he fell to the mighty trunks of trees with all his strength . Finding himself on the territory occupied by the enemy, he did his best to make his way to the front line. First on sick legs, and then crawling for 18 days he got to his. How to survive, it is unknown to anyone. Alexei Petrovich Maresiev (his feat now seems unthinkable) did not like to remember this story and talk about it. He was moved by an indomitable desire to live, he said.

Wonderful salvation

He was found, hardly alive, by the local inhabitants of the village of Plav, the boys Sasha Vikhrov and Seryozha Malin. Sasha's father put the wounded man in his house. A week the farmers took care of and cared for him, but in the village there was no healer, and the frostbitten legs were very inflamed. Qualified assistance Alexey Maresiev received later, when he was transported to the nearest hospital. Amputation of the legs - this was the only correct decision, as the incompatible gangrene began to develop.

Sentence

Doctors knew what a feat Maresiev accomplished, which means a profession for him. The more difficult it was for them to declare their conclusion to him: it was unsuitable for flying. A young, strong-spirited man was greatly depressed, but the iron will and thirst for a full life were not allowed to get used to the idea of disability and his professional unfitness. He could not put up a cross and give up military activities. Motives to action were not the desire to make a career or become famous, but, on the contrary, he regretted his obsessive fame, which burdened him - he expressed this opinion in numerous interviews. I could not become a disabled person and a burden in a difficult time, such was Alexei Petrovich Maresyev. Everyone needed a feat from each Fatherland during this difficult time, and he felt in himself huge untapped forces. In addition, Alexei Petrovich passionately loved the sky, and the conclusion of doctors became a verdict.

Strength of will

Alexei Petrovich owes his return to the air force exclusively to his qualities: perseverance and willpower. Still lying in the hospital, he began to train, preparing himself for flying with prostheses. He had an excellent example - Prokofiev-Seversky - pilot of the First World War, who fought without a right foot. Not only himself, but also doctors he convinced that he can fly.

In February 1943, the senior lieutenant made his first flight with prostheses instead of legs in the flying school of the Chuvash Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. I reached the front and in the middle of the same year I arrived in the fighter aviation regiment.

The Bryansk Front did not immediately believe in him. Alexei Petrovich was worried and very much asked to give him a chance. Soon he received it from the commander Alexander Numerov, who was accompanying his first flights. When Maresiev shot down a German fighter before his eyes, confidence grew at once.

It was a great victory and a great feat. Having lost both legs, he was in the ranks.

The next feat Maresiev: a summary

On the Kursk Bulge in a bloody battle Alexei Maresiev proved his right to the title of one of the best Soviet fighter pilots. After amputating his legs, he shot down another 7 enemy aircraft and saved the lives of two Soviet pilots in the fight against superior enemy forces.

After the end of the battles on the Kursk Bulge, Maresiev was sent to the best air force sanatorium. Here he found a decree on conferring on him the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. The commander of the regiment, N. Ivanov, wrote that Alexei Maresiev, whose feat consisted in true patriotism, did not spare himself, his blood and life, fighting against the enemy, achieving excellent results in battle, despite his physical handicap.

Acquaintance with B. Polevoy

The battle glory about him spread all over the front. Military correspondents began to arrive , including the author of The Tale of a Real Man. Boris Polevoy did not give the hero a real name. Thus, the famous Meresjev was created. The other events described in the story were in reality, except for the novel, but the image of the girl liked the prototype.

The choice between planes and girls he did not have to do, since his wife also has to do with the Air Force. Maresiev said that he did not read the story, but he had a book.

Hero-pilot Alexei Maresiev was not the only prototype of "The Tale of a Real Man." At the front, many heroes were fighting, left without limbs, they were also awarded titles and orders, Meresjev is a collective image.

Maresiev - an example of courage

After the war in 1946, Alexei Petrovich already had a hard time flying: old wounds began to make themselves felt, so he resigned, although he did not complain about his health. I took up teaching, teaching young pilots. And summed up his brilliant heavenly history in the 50's, when he made his last flights. Then he worked in the Committee of War Veterans.

We are acquainted only with Maresiev-the pilot, and the other side of his personality remained in the shadows. He was a candidate of science in history, took an active part in the work of public organizations. This surprisingly persistent person not only did not succumb to ailments, but also amazed those around him with his cheerfulness.

In the postwar period, Maresiev, whose feat Glorified him throughout the country (in part thanks to the story of Boris Polevoy), was invited to many celebrations and meetings with schoolchildren. His merits served as an example in the education of the younger generation.

Maresiev's feat, the summary of which we have considered, will be remembered by descendants. Throughout the war, this heroic man made 86 sorties, destroyed 11 enemy fighters, saved the lives of two pilots.

AP Maresiev left this world in 2001, when an hour before the solemn evening on the occasion of his 85th birthday, all those gathered were informed of a heart attack that had happened. The evening was held, turned into a memory evening, it began with a moment of silence. AP Maresiev was buried at the Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow.
