How to cook chicken with zucchini in the oven

For the dish you will need:

  • 1 zucchini (500-700 gr);
  • 6 chicken breasts without skin;
  • A pair of ripe tomatoes;
  • 200 gr. Cheese (solid);
  • Some garlic.

Chicken breast thoroughly rinse and put on a baking tray, which you either need to oil with vegetable oil, or cover with foil. Put them in a hot oven (180 degrees) for 20 minutes. At the same time, you can prepare vegetables: squash the squash, peel and seeds, salt. Garlic squeeze or finely chop, cut the tomatoes into slices. Now take the chicken out of the oven, put zucchini on top and put on the bake for 15 minutes. After the specified time has elapsed, pull out the baking tray again, sprinkle your dish with a mixture of garlic and cheese, and top with tomatoes. The hen with zucchini in the oven is almost ready: to form a beautiful, ruddy crust, put the form in the oven for 10 minutes. Be sure that half an hour after the beginning of the preparation of the dish, a delicious aroma of meat will float around the house, and your family will definitely ask for supplements, so cook more.

Vegetable stew with zucchini with chicken

Also, from the usual ingredients, you can prepare a delicious stew, of course, on a festive table, we usually do not serve it, but as a second for dinner it will be just right. Take:

  • 1 small zucchini (500-600 gr.);
  • 2 chicken breasts;
  • 2 sweet peppers and ripe tomatoes;
  • Onion and 1 carrot;
  • 150 gr. Fatty sour cream (or fat-free - focus on your own taste), spices and salt.

Wash zucchini, if the vegetable is young, do not cut the peel. Cut it into cubes or strips. Pepper and onion also need to be chopped in half rings, and grate the carrots on a large grater. First, in a separate frying pan in oil, fry the vegetables: zucchini, then add the onion, pepper and carrots, lastly - tomato slices. On the other frying pan lay out chunks of chicken, lightly brown until half ready, and then combine both fryings in one deep dish, which must be closed with a lid and put on a slow fire. Stewed zucchini with chicken will be ready in 15-20 minutes, after which you need to pour sour cream, salt and pepper, lightly reduce the heat and let "go" for 10 minutes. After this, the stew is ready - for decorating it you can sprinkle any chopped greens and serve to the table. Now we know that delicious and useful can be prepared from such simple ingredients: the menu of the festive table will perfectly fit the baked chicken with zucchini in the oven, and on weekday stewed vegetables and meat in sour cream. Both dishes are very tasty, do not have high caloric value, are useful and rich in protein.
