In our country, shish kebab has become the dish that is most often cooked, leaving for nature. First of all, this will help the experience of the inhabitants of the Transcaucasian republics, traditionally possessing a culture of consumption of spicy meat.

So, what is served to shish kebab in Georgia or Armenia? As a rule, sauce, vegetables and greens. In the second case, it is recommended to stack them together with carrots, small pieces of potatoes and onion rings, so it will be juicier.

The king of all garnishes is onions. It is perfectly combined with everything that is served to a shish kebab. The onion should be present both in the marinade and in the design of the prepared dish. It can be baked on charcoal, pickled, simply cut with ringlets. It is so important that without it and shish kebab is not a shish kebab, but simply fried meat.

Garnish should be minimal, with potatoes or rice not very suitable. The task is to enjoy the taste of the dish, which is difficult or impossible to cook at home for most of our fellow citizens. Therefore, the table for shish kebab should be at least plentiful, but concise. Salad, pickled onion and garlic, bread or lavash, baked vegetables, a bottle or a jug of good red wine, that's all.

As for the dishes, then, contrary to the stereotype, one-time plastic plates are not the best option. Such an event, like going to the nature with shish kebabs, happens infrequently, so it's worth pampering yourself and your friends with something more interesting. An excellent option - a set of pottery, including a jug.
