What is krschon? The recipe for a classic and non-alcoholic drink, serving etiquette

Kryushon, like much of what we eat and drink today, came up with the French. In translation, the word "cruchon" means "jug" - that is, it is a dish, in which it has long been customary to pour a drink. This jug should have a wide neck. After all, in the classic krushon recipe prescribes to put fruit (mostly cherry). The modern etiquette of serving the drink to the table is somewhat different from the original one. Now there are special crystal hooks - wide and deep bowls with a scoop.

Than the crochet differs from the same punch (another French invention) or mulled wine (the honor of its creation belongs to the Germans)? The fact that the mandatory condition for giving this drink is pre-cooling. The temperature of the liquid should not exceed 10 ° C, so it is desirable that the cup with it misted. The drink is served for dessert. Classic hook, the recipe of which is not very complicated, consists of wine, cognac and juice with the addition of fruit or syrups. As you can see, nothing to cook, pickle and insist is not necessary - just mix the ingredients and cool.

There are many ways of making this drink, and you can come up with a new one yourself. In order not to be a cocktail, namely a hook, the recipe suggests mixing the ingredients in a wide bowl and chilling after cooking. This is necessary for all components to be able to connect with each other. The only exception is champagne. The bottle can be placed on the ice separately and poured into the mixture just before serving so that the playing bubbles do not disappear.

Thus, the classic recipe prescribes the recipe by the formula: fruit (for example, canned peaches, 8 pieces) cut into pieces, put in a bowl, sprinkle with a glass of sugar, pour 40-60 ml of cognac, a bottle of white table wine, half a glass of fruit juice For example, orange or lemon). Then let it brew for two hours. Then pour another bottle of white wine, stir, put cool. Before serving, pour a bottle of chilled cider into the bowl.

By the same principle, any other hook is done. Recipe with champagne involves replacing the apple cider with grape sparkling wine. You can also use Catalan kava, Italian prosecco, German liblich. For children's festivities, you can serve a beautiful bowl of fruit filled with juices, syrups and children's non-alcoholic champagne. Look good in the crocheting of other "pop": "Fanta", "Coca-Cola", ordinary carbonated water.

There is, therefore, only one, but an immutable rule: the fruit is slightly aged in alcohol with sugar syrup, so that they become "drunk", then poured with juices or water. The mixture is cooled, and before serving is carbonated with champagne, cider or sweet "pop". Only such a drink can be called "krushon". The non-alcoholic recipe recommends or take soft berries (raspberries, strawberries, blueberries), or use jars with a cocktail set (cherries, peaches, pineapples, mandarins, melons). Very interesting watermelon hook. To make the beverage tart, you can add a little tea brew.
