What is different about the menu of business lunches from ordinary dinners?

What is a business lunch? This is yesterday's comprehensive dinner, named after the example of our foreign contemporaries. Why so? Because breakfast, as a rule, is supposed to hold up to 11 hours. And lunch time in business circles comes only after 15. The time interval between the indicated units is called the time of business lunch, when the most active business negotiations are held, but many busy people have not had time to have breakfast.

Invite colleagues to each other or supposed, or actual business partners, whose rank is either on one level or the senior invites the younger one. The menu of business lunches is not much different from the lunch menu, as it can include a variety of hot first and second courses. However, the cooking time and price should be more loyal and affordable for a wide range of consumers.

Differences of the menu of business lunches from the restaurant menu of lunches

- more affordable price (it is assumed that the price is not reduced due to the deterioration of the quality of food, but due to a wide mass of consumers);

- Absence in the menu of alcoholic beverages;

- short cooking time;

- A limited menu and the lack of an opportunity to order a rare refinement.

In our time, the menu of business lunches began to look a little different, rather than it is spelled out in unspoken rules. Many catering establishments are trying to get as many customers as possible, so they turned the business lunch into a regular Stolovsky procedure, simply renaming the more pretentious phrase "complex lunch".

Serving business lunches depends on the level of the institution. If it's a respectable restaurant, then such reputable businessmen flock to it during the specified time, they are served by qualified waiters and really expensive and quality meals are served.

If this menu is a business lunch in a cafe, then you will meet a standard soup or borsch, a Stolovsky garnish with a piece of meat of an economy-variant, a light simple dessert and not the freshest salad. Serving there may refuse, offering to take the tray from the counter and take care of yourself. However, this does not frighten thousands of employees in nearby offices, since first of all the majority of employees are concerned about the lack of free time to search for better services.

Sample menu of business lunches

Usually you can order:

- the first course to choose from (250-300 g);

- meat or fish dish, poultry (100 g);

- garnish - rice, potatoes, vegetables (150 g);

- salad from fresh vegetables or more heavy, with a lot of ingredients (100 g);

- drink - juice, water or compote (200 g).

This can be a standard business lunch. The menu, recipes of which the cook cooks up and improves personally, each institution strives to make more attractive to the customers. So, for example, with the help of low prices it is possible to achieve a large number of visitors. It is important to serve dishes that are qualitatively prepared and fresh, so that in the evening the customers can return for a more expensive dinner. This rule works fine. The close location to the offices allows you to have a constant clientele and to have visitors loyal policy of prices, good service and a pleasant cozy atmosphere. If all the rules are met, then businessmen will flock to such establishments to discuss their joint affairs, as well as for recreation and leisure.
