What is a pass in football. How to make an accurate pass?

One of the main skills in modern football is the ability to quickly and accurately give the ball to teammates. If the players of the team perfectly master the technique of making transfers, then their chance to win in the confrontation grows at times. The key to victory is what is a pass in modern football. It is necessary to train an accurate pass on each training. Even in the absence of a partner, passes can be honed with the help of a wall, without forgetting about the lagging leg.

Types of transfer ball

It is very important which one you pass. There are many kinds of passes in football, however, three main ones can be distinguished:

1) Regular pass with a "cheek"

This is the main and most commonly used form of ball transfer. So what's a pass with a cheek? When this soccer element is executed, the movement does not come from the knee, but from the hip. Pas is performed by the inner part of the foot. Thus the case moves in a direction of transfer. A variation of such passes is the pass of the external part of the foot (Swede).

2) Canopy

It is good to imagine that such a pass is a canopy, the study of an ordinary blow will help. The only difference is that the leg goes not in the ball, but under it. In this case, the body must move directly in the direction of transmission, otherwise it may result in an excessive twist, and the direction of transmission will be inaccurate. Most often, this type of gear is used when carrying the ball out of your own penalty area, performing awnings in the penalty area or when filing angular.

3) Passe crossing

This type of transfer of the ball is used in cases where it is necessary to throw a closely located opponent. Often this type of transfer is used to throw the ball behind the backs of the defenders, with a subsequent exit one on one with the goalkeeper. It is necessary to perform something similar to a thumb stroke with the big toe under the ball.

Technique for performing a pass

When carrying out various types of programs, it is necessary to adhere to the basic technical dogmas. So, when performing any of the passes listed above, it is necessary to put the supporting leg not more than ten centimeters to the side of the ball. At the same time, it must be level with the ball. If you miss or go over, the ball will fly inaccurate and not strong enough. This is a very important point, because what is a pass, given inaccurately? This is the ball to the opponent, the ability to hold a counterattack and a goal.

The leg, beating on the ball, should be stiff. The movement should start from the athlete's hip. Before the strike, you should make a swing with the foot of such force that the ball can reach the addressee without hindrance. It is also advisable to continue the movement of the body in the direction of transfer. This will have a positive effect on the accuracy of the transmission.

When performing the transfer, the body is the axis along which the forces move. Therefore, to ensure maximum transmission accuracy, it is necessary that the shoulders "look" towards the execution of the pass. These are the basic rules for performing an accurate transfer for a novice footballer, more experienced players can make an accurate pass by more sophisticated methods from rather unprofitable positions. But not all at once, the main thing is to train hard!
