A classic recipe for cookie sausages

To prepare this famous delicacy, you will need:

- Half a kilo of shortbread cookie;
- 200 gr of butter of good quality (pay attention to fat content - it should be above 74%);
- 1 tbsp. Granulated sugar;
- 2 tbsp. L. Natural cocoa powder;
- half a glass of normal-fat milk;
- walnuts (optional).

Cookies must be broken into crumbs, or, which is faster, grind with a mixer or in a blender. In a separate bowl, mix soft butter, cocoa, sugar and milk. Then put it all on a slow fire and heat until the mixture becomes homogeneous, but do not boil. Then pour it into a crumb of cookies and mix well until the consistency of plasticine. Almost ready - just divide the mass into several parts, form sausages that need to be wrapped in food film, parchment paper or foil, and put in the freezer for a minimum of several hours to freeze. A ready-made dessert can be stored for a long time. And every time you can get a cup of sausage, cut it in round pieces and enjoy a delicacy familiar from childhood.

The recipe for sausages from biscuits can also be slightly supplemented by adding walnuts or hazelnuts, as well as raisins, dried apricots, pieces of chocolate and so on, to the ready, but not yet frozen mass. Of course, this will increase the energy value of the dish, which is already high in calories - about 350 kcal per 100 grams of product, but for a change, you can try one or another option.

By the way, if you want to try something new, you can use the recipe of cream sausage from cookies. It is prepared in the same way as the usual chocolate sausage, but without the addition of cocoa powder, and instead of milk take a third of a glass of cream and half a can of regular condensed milk.
