But the results are not encouraging: illnesses have appeared, money has not been accumulated, sometimes there is not even an apartment, children have grown and the person remains alone. A whole mountain of problems, and it seems that neither you nor your problems are of any interest or interest to anyone.

But do not be in a hurry to despair. It's not for nothing that you worked, your small, everyday labor exploits helped to strengthen the state. And now it is able to take care of you.

In 1994, the law "On Veterans" was issued. According to Article 7, persons who are awarded the honorary title of Hero of the Soviet Union or the Russian Federation, who are awarded orders, medals, labor marks of distinction and have sufficient work experience, are awarded the title of "Veteran of Labor". How to get this honorable status?

The bodies that issue this certificate present certain requirements to applicants who must have something from the list of orders, medals and honorary titles. Under labor marks, the distinctions usually mean: breastplates and honorary signs, medals, honorary titles of workers of the branch, honorary diplomas of the Government, the Presidium of the Supreme Council.

The work record can be confirmed by: work books, personal accounts and payroll records, job references, extracts from orders, characteristics, certificates, written employment contracts or agreements with a note on their performance or other documents.
