Stroke - symptoms and treatment

In general, the problem of diseases of the cardiovascular system worldwide takes a very dangerous character from the point of view of human security, it can be said that it passes into a state of chronic epidemic. No exception in this series is the stroke, the symptoms of which are more and more often found even in people of not old age, and sometimes even very young guys and women.

As practice shows, you can meet two types of stroke in humans - it is cerebral and, accordingly, focal. Each of them is more or less characterized by its own set of symptoms. It is clear that from the clinic's point of view the most dangerous, severe in terms of progress and in terms of the recovery process, of course, is a cerebral stroke, the symptoms of which, by the way, can differ to a great extent.

These include some types of impairment of consciousness, for example, a feeling of stunnedness, a state of drowsiness, extreme excitement, there may be short-term, as a rule, about 1-2 minutes full loss of consciousness. Alternatively, a "wild, unbearable" headache with nausea, dizziness with dips in the "abyss", noise and stuffiness in the ears, increased heart rate, sweating, possible heat, dryness in the oral cavity and the like can become a sign of impending disaster.

Against this background, focal stroke, the symptoms of which, in the first place, depend on the area that has suffered from the cessation of blood supply, is no less terrible. Suppose a micro stroke stroke the area of the brain that is responsible for the person's movements. In this situation, weakness in the extremities, in principle, up to the development of paralysis, can be felt. Similar violations are observed in patients with impaired blood flow to the brain through the carotid artery.

In some situations, the victims are uncertain about the gait, imbalance with severe nausea. A similar kind of clinic is already found in patients with impaired blood circulation through the spinal cord. In such cases, both visual and, in principle, auditory hallucinations are possible.

As can be seen from the above material, the problem of stroke in terms of symptoms is complex and diverse. For this reason, it is not necessary to diagnose a stroke at once, the symptoms of which can not always be adequately assessed, but it is necessary to contact doctors, and in the very first minutes after the appearance of signs or even suspicions of this disease, you must immediately call an ambulance.

The complexity of the question of how to treat stroke is also that the consequences of the development of the disease in terms of possible regression are almost unpredictable. It is difficult to predict, both in the short and long term, the course of regression processes. It is clear that even after complete restoration of functions, one should not relax, he must take special care of his health in order to avoid relapse.

Strange as it may seem, but even after a stroke patient diagnosed with a doctor, there are many people who, due to their unpreparedness or excessive bravado, refuse the necessary hospitalization. It is clear that this is a superfluous attitude towards one's own health and, ultimately, life. But, if a person for some reason is not ready to answer for himself for his health and life, then perhaps in this situation it is worth thinking about the feelings of relatives, friends, relatives and make the right decision about hospitalization. It is in the conditions of a hospital that it is possible to carry out the necessary complex treatment, which, in the future, allows to conduct an adequate severity of the disease therapy.
