V.P. Astafyev, "Vasyutkino Lake": through the pages of the work

VP Astafyev is one of the most interesting representatives of Russian Soviet literature. He was not in vain called a measure of conscience and morality of our time. Man and nature, man and war, the life of the village, the ecology of the soul and conscience, culture and humanity - these are the questions that were raised by the writer in his works. Everything that is written to them differs with sincere anxiety for our world, for the purity of hearts and sincerity of thoughts, for people to feel themselves in a sense of responsibility to each other and themselves, to feel connected with their native land, stepfather, a small homeland, and feel the call of their ancestors. That each of us clearly understood: here, in this life, we are not pilgrims, temporary workers, but links in the endless chain of humanity. And we live on the same planet, and the children of one mother - Nature.

History of creation

It is no accident that Astafiev called Vasyutkino Lake his story. After all, not every hero, especially if he is a little boy, will receive such a high honor. But Vasyutka deserved it! The work has a pronounced autobiographical character. It grew out of a small school work, in which then the student Astafyev told about the adventure that happened to him. After being a seven-year-old child, he often went out with his father to fish for the artel. And in general, he knew a lot about the taiga, about its character, cunnings and habits from grandfather and grandmother, father. That's why Astafyev did not forget this incident. "Vasyutkino Lake" from student work grew into an interesting story about how in the most unforeseen situations one should keep the presence of the spirit.

Why did the boy manage to escape, and even discover the amazing corner of the forest? Because he did not forget the lessons taught to him by the elders, he did not fall into fear and despondency, he read the "secret book of the taiga". Astafiev "Vasyutkino Lake" with this and wrote: tell people about the pristine beauty of their native places, about the kindness and wisdom of nature, its strict justice to people.

The main idea of the work

Recalling and viewing his childhood with the eyes of an adult, wise man's experience, the writer wanted to tell about the lake so that the reader's souls would tremble so that they could vividly and vividly imagine him and a wonderful meadow in the forest. As an artist, he creates a picture with precise, brilliant strokes, and Astafiev Vasyutkino describes the lake in expertly selected words. He saw his writing task in the following: to make it clear to the readers that there is "a beautiful world around them" and they themselves too "are in this world". After all, we all come to adulthood from childhood. And Victor Petrovich believes: it's good that in our destiny there are such "lakes" - guiding stars that help us to understand ourselves, to purify ourselves, to realize simple but infinitely important worldly truths. This is the ideological meaning of the story.

Nature and man in the story

Two of the main characters brought in his work Astafyev. "Vasyutkin lake", the content of which we are considering is a story about nature. And nature - not background or theater decoration. This is a special world, living by its own laws. And he checks the true essence of people, determines who is capable of what. Nature forces Vasyutka to pass the tests, as a result of which he was tempered, became stronger and more humane. It is nature that enables the boy to better appreciate the love and care of the mother, family, loved ones. It frightens, confuses, threatens, but also prompts, opens the veils. The main thing is to see, to notice, to understand, and for this, eyes and ears should be sharp and sensitive, but also the heart. This is the opinion of Viktor Petrovich Astafyev.

"Vasyutko Lake" is a philosophical and modern story, revealing complex, multifaceted relations between man and nature, as well as an infinite space within ourselves. Read Astafyev, because through his works, like Pushkin's, "one can excellently cultivate a person in himself."
