Top-8 people with real superpowers, which amaze scientists

People with special abilities exist everywhere. In rare cases, they are susceptible to the Savant Syndrome, but this gives them the opportunity in a matter of seconds to paint a masterpiece of painting with closed eyes. More often they are mathematical geniuses, able to compete with computers, for which there is nothing easier than in the mind to multiply ten-digit numbers. But there is an even more common group of unique people - ordinary people, able to remember every detail of their lives, up to the date of the event.

However, the superpowers today go far beyond the presentation of scientists. Despite the fact that science has been studying every person who has an amazing gift for several decades, the results of experiments are not always amenable to a logical explanation. Below are just some of those examples that make us stop and think about whether we are all aware of human capabilities.

Ingo Swan (remote viewing)

Remote vision, or remote viewing, is a unique ability of a person to describe the location of an object within a radius of several hundred thousand kilometers. This gift is possessed not only by Ingo Swan, but our first hero is the most famous amongst his kind. Specialists from the CIA, NASA and scientists from Stanford University conducted a scientific study, participants of which were people who have parapsychological capabilities. This experiment lasted more than two decades, including it included the study of remote vision. As a result, many people were able to describe various objects that were in the next room or even in other, more remote places. They can design their consciousness by sending it outside their physical shell to a different location from their current location.

One of the participants in the study, Ingo Swan, sent his consciousness so far that he could see and describe the rings around Jupiter. Even NASA scientists did not have at that time the ability to view the outlines of a distant planet in detail, this information was confirmed much later. Remote viewing was in fact actively used by special services. During the Cold War, there were many secret projects, in which considerable money was invested.

Uri Geller (psychokinesis)

A professional aerospace engineer, physicist Jack Hawk and his colleagues was responsible for conducting a series of sessions testing the validity of a phenomenon such as psychokinesis (the ability to move objects with the help of thought power). Participants were trained to move metal objects without using physical force. Sometimes the metal could be bent or deformed. The sessions were attended by children who had the ability to teleport whole physical objects from one place to another. Among the observers of the experiment there was a well-known man - Uri Geller.

Once, while in the Capitol building, during a conversation with congressmen, he was able to bend the spoon without using any physical influence. Regardless of whether you consider this a mystification or question the ability of this person, no one can deny the fact that our consciousness has a measurable impact on the physical world. At least, at the present time this theory is firmly entrenched in the scientific literature.

Stephen Wiltshire (artist-autist)

When Stephen was still a child, at the age of 3 years he was diagnosed with "autism." Now he is an artist who can depict detailed urban landscapes. Stephen became famous for his ability to form accurate views of species in a matter of seconds. He does not need to peer for hours at a time in order to depict a reliable picture with astonishing accuracy.

Wim Hof (meditation)

This unique person could surprise many scientists after using meditation for immersion in icy water. For almost two hours he remained in the middle of pieces of ice, and during this time the temperature of his body did not change by one degree. This experiment adds evidence to the theory of the effect of consciousness on various body reactions (including malaise).

"Ice man" successfully maintains optimal body temperature even under more extreme conditions. He already managed to climb Mount Everest in cowards, successfully coping not only with the cold, but also with the lack of oxygen. He ran a marathon distance in the Namib desert without a single drop of water. In laboratory conditions it was proved that Wim Hof can influence his vegetative nervous system, as well as immunity.

Buddhist monks (yoga, meditation)

Professor Harvard University of Medicine Herbert Benson and his team visited remote monasteries in the Himalayas back in the 80 years of the last century. The technique of yoga allowed Buddhist monks to raise the temperature of the fingers and toes by 17 degrees. Until now, it is not known how monks are able to generate such a high temperature. However, the researchers did not stop there and continued to study the super-abilities of these amazing people. So, after meditation sessions in Sikkim (India), monks were able to reduce metabolism by 64 percent.

Well, the fact that the cold winter nights these people spend at an altitude of 4.5 kilometers, no one is surprised. They are able to dry cold wet sheets only with the heat of their own body. Researchers believe that practices such as yoga or meditation can accelerate the development of our innate supernatural abilities.

Daniel Tammet (Computational Skills)

This young man became famous in 2014, when in the mind he was able to calculate the mathematical constant of the pi number up to 22 digits after the decimal point. In total, it took Daniel 5 hours and 9 minutes, but he did it unmistakably. The experiment took place at the Museum of History of Science in Oxford, and was recognized as the new record of Europe. In that year, when it became clear about the super abilities of our next hero, he was diagnosed with a highly functional autistic savant syndrome.

Scientists have realized that brilliantly perform a number of complex mathematical problems "normal" mind is not able. Similar mathematical abilities are often found among patients with autism. However, according to Daniel himself, the differences between patients with the Savant Syndrome and all other people are greatly exaggerated by the pharmacological industry. These amazing abilities are not the result of a genetic fad, but rather are achieved by a complex associative form of thinking and imagination.

Nina Kulagina (psychokinetic influence on physical objects)

Among the most amazing, the most terrible and incredible opportunities for people suggested by psychic folklore is that they can influence the physical space. And it can be done both consciously and unconsciously. Some scholars believe that this can help the promotion of spiritual minds, the result of a mysterious principle known to science as synchronism.

Nina Kulagina, a native of the Soviet Union, was able to demonstrate psychokinetic influence on physical objects, which caused a real stir in 1968. After that, the possibilities of this woman were investigated by about 40 scientists, including two Nobel laureates. Communist scholars, who refused to take a spiritualistic view of the world, said that they were confronted with a new, unknown force in nature.

Chuling-san (mental projection of qi energy)

This woman, with her special abilities, can accelerate the germination of specific seeds to develop a more reliable seed stock. Chuling-san practices one of the types of Qigong gymnastics, which teaches you to transfer the energy of chi (vital energy) to objects under the control of the mind. Our last heroine can cause the seeds to grow to the stage of rooting and throwing shoots in only 20 minutes. In total, the woman demonstrated her capabilities in more than 180 different experiments conducted at universities and research centers in China, Hong Kong and several other countries. The biological mechanisms underlying this phenomenon are not known.
