The tasks of psychology

The tasks of modern psychology, what are they? Recently, before psychology there are more and more questions, both theoretical and practical, which causes its rapid development. The main tasks of psychology are the study of psychological laws in their unceasing development and the expansion of the front of psychological research. After all, the conceptual apparatus is constantly changing, new disciplines and whole scientific directions appear.

Particular problems of psychology are very diverse, because it covers the properties of a person, his state and the processes that occur with him - from distinguishing the characteristics of the object that affects the human senses, and to the struggle of personality motivations. Some of these phenomena have been studied quite deeply, while others have just been ascertained as fact. And the final tasks of psychology in its theoretical part consist in comparing, integrating and systematizing all the accumulated knowledge and solving methodological problems that inevitably arise at the same time.

The basic categories of this science are reflection, activity, personality and communication, as well as social and biological concepts. The most difficult task of psychology is the identification of all objective connections between the natural and social properties of the human personality, the correlation of social and biological determinants in the course of its development. Not so long ago, this science was an exclusively philosophical discipline, but in recent years its practical role has become increasingly important. Psychological tests for admission to work are conducted both in industry and in public administration, psychology tasks are decided not only in medical institutions, but also in every secondary school. Tasks that require the artist to perform psychological competence can now arise in any sphere of society in order to eliminate the harmful influence of the so-called "human factor", which, if neglected, sometimes leads to the most unpredictable and huge problems. By the term "human factor" in our time is meant the whole range of psychological, psychophysiological and socio-psychological characteristics of people that can somehow affect the specific type of human activity.

The primary tasks of psychology are the creation of a scientific basis for the prompt discovery of objective laws, to which the entire system of psychological phenomena is subject, from the simplest sensations and to the psychic properties of individuals and the improvement of the upbringing and education of the younger generation. The society gradually realized the importance of the applied problems of psychology for solving everyday problems of each individual, which led to the creation and gradual development of psychological support in the system of public education. At present, such a service is at the stage of development and in the future is called upon to link science with wide practical application of the results of its activities.

From the place reserved for psychology among other sciences, depends largely on understanding the possibility of applying its developments in other sciences, as well as the use of their achievements in relation to psychology. It is interesting that no other science has so often changed its place in the system of knowledge, like psychology. At present, the nonlinear classification of Academician B.M. Kedrova.
