The best option would be to build a well directly in the room, but to realize this option is quite rare - usually it is located at some distance. For this reason, the water supply system of the house is conditionally divided into water intake and a highway laid in the yard and inside the premises. Internal water supply, in turn, consists of fittings (valves, pipes, valves, etc.) and consumers (mixers, taps, sanitary equipment).

How to equip a well

The first thing to consider is that the house's water supply system will require equipment with additional electrical appliances, in particular a submersible electric pump, through which water will be supplied to the pipeline. Its power is calculated depending on the depth of the well and the expected demand for water. Work electrical equipment will be at depth, i.e. The device for lowering and lifting the pump, electrical cable and water hose should be envisaged at the planning stage. It can be a winch, manual or electric. For ease of lowering, the cable can be connected to the hose, the intervals between the fixing points can be from 1.5 to 2 m, and the fasteners themselves must allow the cable to move relative to the hose when applying some force.

In some cases, a more rational option would be to use a complex system that provides two or three synchronous drums that will ensure a smooth lowering-lifting of the cable with the load, the hose and the cable. It is not recommended to remove the pump using a cable or a water hose!

Installation of the water supply system of a country house will also require digging trenches for laying water pipes. Calculation of the depth of trenches should be made carefully, given the depth of freezing in the region. Water in pipes laid out outdoors should not freeze even in the most severe frosts. If you have problems with digging a deep trench, you can resort to the insulation of pipes using modern materials.

How to create the right water pressure

The water supply system of the house should also include a water tank, which is usually located on the second or attic floor of the room (at its highest part). Experts recommend to equip it with automatic level sensors that will control the operation of the pump. The presence of a water tank in the house will be useful in case of occasional operation of a centralized water supply system - it will help to avoid problems with interruptions in the supply of water.
