Armu is a large tributary of the Great Ussurki about two hundred kilometers long. The main part of its basin is located on the territory of the Krasnoarmeysky district in Primorsky Krai. Two hundred and eighty tributaries flow into Armu, the total length of which is more than five hundred kilometers. The main ones are Obilnaya, Valinka, Krapivnaya, Lyutinka and Mikula.

The river has a fairly meandering valley, which widens to eighty meters in the lower reaches and deepens to three, while the current velocity is up to ten kilometers per hour. In winter, Armu is solid ice that appears in November and melts only in late spring.

Among the largest animals are such as roe deer, wild boar, wapiti, tiger and bear. Among the birds inhabiting the local expanses, there are even those entering the Red Book.

Fishing on the river
