The popular American writer James Chaikovsky was born in Chicago (Illinois) in 1961. With three sisters and three brothers he grew up in the Midwest, and the summer children spent in the countryside of Canada, where Jack decided to become a veterinarian. After receiving a doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Missouri, he opened his own veterinary clinic in Sacramento, California.

His first adventure novel author wrote under the pseudonym "James Rollins". All books in order (we will disassemble them in the article) begin with a work called "Cave". This novel James wrote without detaching himself from veterinary practice and graduated in 1995, but the publication took place only in 1998. In the period of three years of waiting, Tchaikovsky tries himself in the genre of fantasy, and in the same year 1998 his first book in this genre, "The Fire of the Witch", opens the cycle "The Damned and the Exiled." In the genre of fantasy, the author works under the pseudonym James Clemens. Tchaikovsky is a speleologist and certified by the association PADI-diver, therefore the actions of his works, taking place under the water and earth, are so realistic. James Rollins "The Cave"

The events of the novel carry the reader to Antarctica, where a research expedition was sent to study and describe the remains of an ancient settlement found in one of the caves hidden beneath the eternal ice of the continent. The team of researchers will soon find out that it is not the first group that has descended into the icy labyrinth to study abandoned dwellings of about five million years old. It turns out that the first expedition was gone. In the process of searching for the previous team, researchers come to the conclusion that under the ice there is an entire unknown civilization with its secrets and riddles. Where the mysterious labyrinths lead the heroes and what they will have to face, the reader will have to find out. As already mentioned, "The Cave" is the first adventure novel written by James Rollins. All books (in order, we will analyze them in the article), written by the author in this genre, are no less interesting and worthy of attention.

"Pyramid"

The novel was published on July 3, 2000. The author himself with special trepidation speaks about the writing of this book, as he is a great admirer of history and folk traditions and studied a lot of material relating to the Incas. It is about the secrets of this civilization that we are talking about in the novel. The book is interesting not only for the amazing adventures of heroes, but also for the myths and historical facts that reveal many secrets of the ancient Inca civilization.
