With special caution, the drug is prescribed for congenital hyperbilirubinemia, children under twelve years of age.

Simultaneous reception of caffeinated products (tea, coffee) during therapy can provoke an overdose.

Long-term use of the drug "Panadol" requires control over the state of peripheral blood and liver activity.

"Panadol" is able to reduce the effectiveness of uricosuric medicines. Paracetamol increases the withdrawal period of chloramphenicol fivefold. Under the influence of caffeine, the absorption of ergotamine is accelerated. With prolonged use of "Panadol" paracetamol in its composition can enhance the effect of anticoagulants.

The simultaneous administration of ethanol can cause the development of hepatotoxic manifestations. The likelihood of hepatotoxic effects is reduced by inhibitors of microsamal oxidation (cimetidine).
