Is there life after death: a surprise for atheists

No one knows for sure what will happen to us after death. At best, we have revelations of religious authorities, in the worst - the speculation of esotericists. Although, of course, there are more or less interesting studies of people who have visited the border of the worlds, after they have gone to the intensive care unit or simply survived near death to a condition outside the medical institutions.

I will briefly describe my own experience of the near-death state. I was in intensive care and the situation was very difficult. It was difficult for me to breathe, and my mind was undoubtedly changed. The world began to seem clouded. When everything had almost disappeared, I heard a strong man's voice: "This soul is not the time to go to court" and someone started to read the prayer "May God arise." At that time, I was not at all believer, and this prayer could not know, but she was read aloud and completely. After that, I woke up in the morning and asked if there had been men the day before. I was told that I was not there, and nobody read the prayer over me, although everyone was very frightened when I felt worse. By the way, this prayer is considered one of the strongest against demons. Who intervened? I tend to think that this was a guardian angel. Now I am an Orthodox Christian, not only by virtue of baptism, but I myself read "Let God Rise Up" before going to sleep. To the question "Is there life after death?" My answer has long been determined. And every day we have to remember the court that awaits me, and not only me.

My faith is Orthodoxy. Life after death, according to our convictions, is what we, the believers, should prepare for the rest of our lives. Sins can be washed by the sacrament of repentance, but none of us knows how much we have left, perhaps the next hour of our lives will be the last, and we did not have time to repent and stand before God for judgment in all the impurity of sin.

Is there life after death? Of course, there are, but not just life, but two at the root of different life options. On Earth, we can be unhappy, but if we remember the moral laws and do everything to live according to them, if our heart is always open to the person in trouble, we have a chance for a good version of the future behind the coffin.

Is there life after death? There are, however, we can not foresee and know for sure whether we will be on the right side of the Lord Jesus Christ. Confidence that I will be saved is a sign of pride. Even the saints were not completely sure that they would be with God and the High Court would not send them to the deserts of hell.

Is there life after death? We will all doubt our lives and believe in God, hope and love, to be one step closer to a better future beyond the grave. Of course, one should not forget about righteous deeds. However, with success, it must be remembered that it was God who gave us the opportunity to create, and we can not ascribe to ourselves too many achievements.

Each of our wrong steps is recorded by the eternal enemies of people and there is only one way to blot out these tables - frankly to repent and confess. Atheists after the death awaits a cruel surprise, because they will have to answer not only for themselves, but for all those whom they tried to influence with their views. Those who were not baptized will not even be protected by the guardian angel, and those who were baptized but did not believe will be judged more severely, along with the apostates of faith. Therefore, baptism is a serious step and much obliging.

It's terrible to think that there are our everyday not the best things and there is life after death as a result of these everyday mistakes-sins that tend to drag out a person, not allowing him to rethink and bring repentance.

I want us to think about what awaits us after the Lord draws a line under our not always right life. We need to look for opportunities to be on the right side, but this is not always an easy task. Let there be less doubt and more faith in your life!
