Medication "Ceforal Solutab" is a synthetic agent of the third generation cephalosporin series. The agent has a bactericidal effect, associated with the inhibition of the synthesis of the microbial cell wall. The drug is resistant to the influence of beta-lactamases (antibiotic-destroying compounds that are produced by gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria).

The maximum effectiveness of the drug is noted three or four hours after admission. The use of food has no significant effect on the level of absorption of the drug.
