The medication has a cerebroprotective effect. The "Cavinton forte" agent can reduce the severity of cytotoxic reactions provoked by stimulating amino acids. The drug has a stimulating effect on brain metabolism, increases the absorption and absorption of oxygen and glucose by the brain.

Medication "Cavinton Fort" increases blood flow selectively. The agent is able to strengthen the fraction of the brain of a minute volume, reduce the vascular resistance, without affecting the readings of the total blood circulation (minute volume, blood pressure, heart rate).

In ophthalmology, the drug "Cavinton forte" is prescribed for vascular eye pathologies (angiospasm of the retina and vascular membrane, atherosclerosis, secondary glaucoma and others).

The medication is used in the treatment of ENT diseases (with hearing loss of age, toxic or vascular origin (origin)), Meniere's disease, tinnitus, and vasovegative manifestations of climacteric syndrome.

Contraindications to the appointment of the drug "Cavinton Forte" are lactation and pregnancy, heart failure in severe forms, as well as hypersensitivity to vinpocetine or ancillary components.

The dosage and duration of the therapeutic course is prescribed individually by the doctor. As a rule, it is enough to take the pill three times a day. Drink medication is recommended after a meal. The therapeutic course can last from one to eight months, usually an average of three to four months. With the withdrawal of the drug, the dosage is reduced gradually over two to three days.
