Strudel with apples. The recipe is homemade.

Strudel with apples is a simple recipe. It can be easily prepared as a semi-finished frozen dough, and create this masterpiece with your own hands. The main thing to remember is that there are several varieties of strudel. It depends on the filling and the dough that you choose for your treat. Some like the strudel for its original filling, and some for a thin, toasty layer of dough.


By the way about the test, for the strudel are two of its kind. There is a classic option - this is an exhaust dough or, its foreign name, dough filo. This option is more difficult to prepare, if you do not have the knack of working with a thin test. But the result will please you: the strudel turns out to be tender and tasty. If you are not afraid of difficulties, then after cooking, you can proudly say that you have prepared a Viennese strudel with apples. The recipe for this will be described below. The second option is a puff pastry. Then the dish turns out to be heavier, but you can use a more original stuffing. The minimum set of necessary products:
• Flour 3 tbsp. Spoons
• Vegetable oil (sunflower or olive to choose from) about 2 tbsp. Spoons
• Yolks of 3 eggs.
• 1 tbsp. A spoonful of water
• A couple drops of vinegar, preferably apple, and salt.


How to cook:
1. Flour is sieved in a bowl and a small crater is made. There water is poured, yolks and vinegar, salt is poured.
2. Begin the kneading, gradually add oil. Knead for about 10 minutes.
3. The dough should be elastic and not stick to your hands. If necessary, you can add more oil, flour or water.
4. Dough rolled into a ball, pour it with oil and pack it in a film or bag. Leave in the kitchen, but not in the refrigerator, for 30-40 minutes.
5. Then the fun begins. It is best to spread a cloth tablecloth and sprinkle it with flour. The dough is rolled as thin as possible, and then stretched out with your hands. It should look almost transparent.
6. After we put the stuffing, take the edges and turn off the sausage.

"Strudel with apples" - a fast or light version of the test
Ingredients:
• 900 gr. Flour
• 300 ml. water
• Salt about 5 grams (one teaspoon)
• 2 tablespoons Vinegar, better than apple
• 50 ml of vegetable (olive or sunflower) oil
The cooking process will repeat the previous recipe, but with the condition that the dough should stand in sealed form for about an hour. You can leave it in a warm place, and in the refrigerator.

Puff pastry can be purchased at the store (puff pastry is bought without yeast), but you can make your own, homemade.


Strudel with apples. Recipe for puff pastry:
Main Ingredients:
• Flour about 400 grams
• The same amount of butter.
• 2/3 cup water (can vary depending on the flour)
• Citric acid - ¼ (quarter) of a teaspoon
• Salt.
Procedure for performing the actions:
1. Mix together the flour (not all, but 300 grams) of salt and acid. Add water, do not pour all at once, better add a little, so that the dough is not too liquid, knead the dough. It should be kneaded quickly, if possible, use a blender.
2. Roll the dough into a ball, make two notches on the top of it to make a cross. And put the refrigerator for half an hour.
3. Cut the oil into pieces and add flour to it (the remaining 100 grams). Also roll and cool in the freezer for 20 minutes
4. Next, roll the flour dough and lay on it a cold butter with flour, wrap the edges. Roll out again.
5. Mentally we divide the rolled out layer into 2 halves and wrap it to the middle of the edge, then fold it in half and put it into the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
6. Roll the dough, mentally divide into 6 parts and roll it twice on the right and twice on the left side, then in half. Let the dough rest in the freezer for another 15-20 minutes.
7. Roll out and put the stuffing. Bake at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Apples are not the only variant of the entrails of baking. But with them the work is very simple. You need to grate or chop them as you like. If desired, add nuts, raisins, cinnamon or sprinkle with sugar. If you use a dough, then for convenience use grated apples, then the dough will not break.
