"Snail" cookies: step by step recipe

Cookies "Snail" - a popular treat for everyday menus. It is very easy to prepare, and the recipe does not contain either rare or expensive ingredients. Required Products

Shortbread cookie "Snail" is prepared from such a set of ingredients:

  • Margarine - a packet (200 g);
  • Eggs - 2 pieces;

Preparation of the dough

  2. Margarine chop with flour into crumbs. Add the soda ash. It will take approximately 0.5 tsp.
  3. Pour the egg mass into a crumb, mix thoroughly. Soon, the dough will begin to form in a coma that will be easy to crumple with your hands.
  4. Divide it in half.

Forming layers

Cookies "Snail" due to the name of the similarity to the shell. To get beautiful spirals, half the dough should be colored with cocoa in a chocolate color. This is done as follows.

Form a cake from the dough, dust it with cocoa powder and fold it. Start kneading. Cocoa quickly blossom and connect with the dough, thanks to the margarine. Remember with your hands until the dough is completely dyed. In the second part in the same way mix vanilla sugar.

Spread a piece of bakery paper on the table, roll one piece of dough on it, trying to give it a rectangular shape. Do exactly the same with the second part. Transfer the light half to the dark one, remove the top paper, roll the roll, and get rid of the lower layer. Fix it with your hands, so that the layers are snug against each other.

Cut with a sharp knife into circles, place on a baking sheet.

Baking

Cookies "Snail" is prepared quickly. Before starting to form products, turn on the oven. It just has time to warm up to 180 o C. Bake the cookies for about 25 minutes.
