When you unscrew the cover, you will have full access to all the components of the system unit, including the power supply. Take a picture or draw a schematic diagram of the connection of all the wires that go from the unit to the rest of the computer. This will help you after completing the procedures to connect everything as needed. After the drawing, absolutely all wires coming from the power supply must be disconnected. When you do this, once again make sure that all items are disabled (this is a very serious and important point!). Assemble all the wiring in one bundle, and then use a rubber band or clamp to fix it, and then take it all out of the system unit. Once again, make sure that the power supply is not connected at the moment to the mains.

Checking the power supply of the PC is as follows. Closing, no matter what way, black with a green wire from the connector, through which it connects to the motherboard. This can be done with tweezers or a paper clip. In this case, the green wire is only one, but there will be a few black ones. It does not matter which of them will be selected. Pay attention to the fact that the clip does not fall out of the connector, and also make sure that it does not touch any objects or surfaces.

Plug the power cord into the required connector, and turn the power switch to the power-up mode. Checking the power supply unit is considered to be successful, if after all of your actions the fan started spinning. In this case, everything is in order. If this is not the case, then it is strongly recommended that you contact the service center to repair this item.

After the power supply unit has been checked, everything must be reset to its original position. To do this, turn off the switch on the power supply again, and then disconnect the power supply cable. Remove the accessory with which you closed the contacts, thereby breaking the chain. In the system board you turn on certain connectors, then connect the power cable to the unit from one side, and to the outlet on the other. After that, press the power button.

When the fan blades start to rotate, and you hear the CPU noise, you will see the work of the video card and the hard drive - press and hold the power button until your USB drive goes off.
