Retirement

Despite the fact that the government has a year of debates about a possible increase in the retirement age, the figures so far remain unchanged. Men retire in old age at 60, and women five years earlier.

However, a person can go on a deserved rest much earlier - it all depends on how many years of work he has and in what conditions he has worked most of his life.

If a man works for 10 years or more in a hot shop, at work with harmful conditions or under the ground - he has the right to retire at the age of fifty years. A woman who has worked in similar conditions for more than 7.5 years has the right to early care at 45 years.

Retirement for harmfulness at 55 years for men and fifty for women, respectively, will expect people working in difficult working conditions. To do this, the working experience of a man in this place should be at least 12.5 years, and the insurance experience - a quarter of a century. The requirements that the law makes on women are much milder - at least 10 years of experience at work with difficult conditions and twenty years of insurance experience.

Workers of what specialties expect retirement at 55 and 50 years? Drivers of trams, drivers of trolleybuses and buses operating on regular urban routes. Dock-machine operators involved in loading and unloading operations in ports, as well as citizens serving civil aviation vessels. For the early retirement of the above categories of workers requires at least twenty years of work in the specialty (women 15 years) and a quarter of a century of service (women 20 years).

People who are members of the ship's crew and who constantly work in the traveling and auxiliary vessels or in the port waters, as well as civil aviation personnel, are also waiting for early retirement. For this, men need 12.5 years to work in this specialty and have 25 years of insurance experience. Women need to work for 10 years and have twenty years of insurance experience.

In some specialties, the retirement in Russia depends not on the age of the employee, but only on his length of service. For example, rescuers, who have worked for 15 years in professional rescue services, involved in the liquidation of consequences of emergencies and natural disasters, are sent ahead of time to a well-deserved rest. But the minimum age for them to retire is 40 years. Roughly speaking, if a person began to work in this position from the age of 25 onwards, he will retire to 40 if he is in the twenty-first year. And if only in 35, then in 50, after working for 15 years.

The same goes for teachers who have worked in children's institutions for at least a quarter of a century. As well as workers involved in the treatment or protection of public health in villages and villages. It is enough for such specialists to work 25 years in the specialty in order to retire before the deadline.

All listed cases of retirement are classified as citizens who work in difficult, responsible or dangerous jobs.

However, there are separate specific benefits for entering early retirement for mothers.

In particular, a woman can retire at 50, having fifteen years of insurance experience if she gave birth to five children and raised them at least to the age of eight.

Also, a woman can go on vacation if she has given birth to at least two children and has worked twelve years in the Far North (or 17 years in the territories equaled to them), having twenty years of insurance experience.

In addition, the law provides for a number of benefits for disabled people and their relatives on early retirement. The entire list of privileged categories of citizens, as well as a full description of all types of work entitling them to early retirement, can be read in the federal law "On Labor Pensions in the Russian Federation" of 17.12.2001.

By the way, the law does not oblige a person to leave immediately after reaching the retirement age. He may well work in his field for many more years.
