Rereading the classics: what circumstances made Vladimir Dubrovsky become a robber
The work of Alexander Pushkin called "Dubrovsky" literary scholars is called a robber novel, a story. It was written in the 30s of the 19th century, but the author himself considered the story unfinished. Pushkin did not bring his child to the end, intending to return to the story and continue to work on its content, to complete the study of the fate of the main characters. The idea of the novel was drawn from the stories of his close friend Nashchokin about a certain Belarusian nobleman who was imprisoned after a cruel lawsuit with a rich neighbor.
Reality and life
As can be seen from the diary entries of Alexander Sergeevich, he was extremely interested in the adventurous and romantic history of the life of the landowner Ostrovsky. It was in the events of his fate that the writer found the storylines for his story. And the conflict that broke out between the prototypes of the work, explains to us what circumstances made Vladimir Dubrovsky become a robber. The petty noble Ostrovsky, after the machinations of his noble and unprincipled neighbor, was deprived of estates, land and serfs. The same happened with both Dubrovsky - father and son. With a small handful of faithful peasants, Ostrovsky began to rob, vindicting the podiatich for improper judgments, and then to other landlords. That's what caused the rebellion of a real person. Here are the circumstances that made Vladimir Dubrovsky become a robber after his father died. However, between the heroes of this and fictional stories there is a significant difference. Pushkin had to think a lot and generalize, for his hero is not just a mold from a concrete human destiny, but also an artistic image, typified and containing many characters. And the story itself is a vivid example of Pushkin's realism, showing the formation and development of the method in his work.

The peasants rebelled, Dubrovsky hardly prevented them from a bloody skirmish with the arrivals. He already decided what he would do. When the judges settled down in the house, feasted a mountain, and then fell asleep right in the dining room amid food and drinks, the courtyards set fire to the house by order of the young master. He instantly blazed. The servants closed the windows and doors so that no one could get out from the inside. Responsibility for arson and murder public opinion laid on the former owner of Kistenevka. And the robber Vladimir Dubrovsky, having built a squad of the most devoted peasants and domestic people, began to scare the neighbors' estates, slowly getting closer to his main enemy, Troyekurov.
