Narcissus is a flower that symbolizes beauty. Inside its soft white buds is a small red-orange crown. The plant has a fine exquisite stem and exudes a tart "oriental" flavor. It is very important to prepare the land in advance. About a month before the landing of flowers it should be dug. And, of course, do not forget to make fertilizer.

Plant the plant best in early autumn or late summer. Approximately 12-15 cm deep, bulbs should be placed, from which narcissus will subsequently appear. Therefore, depending on when you plan to remove the bulbs, you should observe a certain distance when planting the plants.
If in a year or two, the seeds should be placed at a distance of 10 cm from each other. If you want to get a fairly large number of "children", plant flowers in such a way that the gaps between them are not less than 20 cm.

Fertilizer

Caring for daffodils after flowering, as well as during their active growth, presupposes obligatory top dressing of plants. Fertilizers are recommended to be applied during bud formation. For these purposes, ammonium nitrate is the best choice. Nitrophosphoric and nitrogen-potassium fertilizers can also be used . It should be borne in mind that the flowers do not tolerate high acidity.

After the buds begin to wither, they must be carefully cut off, not allowing the seeds to tie.
When the leaves of the plant turn yellow, you can dig out the bulbs. To protect them from diseases, it is recommended to treat them with fungicides before storage. Then the bulbs should be dried and placed in a cool dry place.

When planting in a pot, the bulb should be placed in such a way that its 1/3 part is on the surface. After this, the plant must be watered. Then the pot with the bulb should be placed in a dark place, the temperature in which does not exceed +5 degrees. As soon as the daffodil leaves the sprout, it can be moved to a normal room. With regular watering, the flower will soon show its first buds. Next year, in the autumn, the bulbs can be planted in the open ground. For growing in a pot, as a rule, they are no longer used.
