Is it possible to plant the apple tree in the fall?

In fact, the best time for this action is spring, when the intense movement of juice in the trunk has not yet begun. That is, they do this most often at the end of April, when the temperature reaches + 7 + 9 degrees Celsius.

Since it is possible to plant the apple tree in autumn at this temperature, then with accurate adherence to the methods you will succeed. However, there is one "but"! Since in the autumn the vegetative processes stop, then with the cuttings or the tree, which already grow in the soil, it is not recommended to conduct such an experiment. You can ruin both the graft and the stock itself.

So how can I plant my apple tree in autumn or not? Of course! Just have a little "twist". This requires a large and relatively warm basement. In the same we drag the necessary number of seedlings, plant them, and then plant them in a suitable container.

Maintaining a constant and not too high temperature (15-17 degrees) in such a "bomb shelter", we keep our grafted apple trees throughout the winter. After the onset of auspicious spring days, they can be dragged out and planted in the ground.

The method of the process does not differ from the spring one. Of course, before this you need to have a ready cut, "equipped" with at least a couple of kidneys.
