In this article, we will review the summary of the book "Neznayka on the Moon". This work of Nikolai Nosov is familiar to many of us since childhood - someone read it, someone looked a fine film adaptation. Today, the stories that tell of the adventures of Neznaika are as popular among the younger generation.

About the work

"Neznayka on the Moon" (a brief summary below) is included in the series of books telling about the adventures of Dunno. The genre of the work is defined as a novel-fairy tale. The book is the final part of the series, which included "The Adventures of Neznaika and His Friends" and "Dunno in the Sunny City".

Originally, the work was published in parts from 1964 to 1965 in the journal Family and School. Separately, the book was published in 1965.

Nosov, "Dunno on the Moon": a summary

The book takes place two and a half years after the shorts visited Sunny City.

Scientists Fuchsia and Herring from Sunny Town, together with Znaika, visited the Moon. After that, Znaike wanted to fly independently. The idea aroused the interest of all residents of the Flower City and the astronomer Steklyashkin. In the meantime Znayka composed a whole book, in which he outlined his version of the origin of the lunar craters. In addition to everything else, the scientist argued that life inside the moon is possible. Everyone laughed at this statement Znaika, and no one believed him.

From the moon, the scientist took a small piece of local rock, which at night was shining. Once Znayka accidentally put it together with a magnetic ironstone, and then in the house where he lived and several other shorties, miracles began to take place, the fault of which was ... weightlessness. Resolute inhabitants tried to adapt to it, even cooked dinner.

After the cause of the incident was clarified, everyone again began to respect Znaike. Opening the device of weightlessness, the shorties began to build a spaceship to fly to the moon. As a gift to the lunar inhabitants, they loaded seeds of giant plants into the rocket. Donchik and Neznayka decided not to take with them. Therefore, they made their way to the rocket on the night before the flight to hide there, but accidentally they pressed the start button and flew together.

Once on the moon, the short men put on their suits and went to explore its surface. Accidentally, Neznaika fell into the tunnel and found himself inside the Moon.

Introduction to the lunar people

It turns out that Znayka was right, and under the surface of the Moon really live shorty, but they are very different from the inhabitants of the Flower City. The social structure of the Moon is very similar to our earthly one. Undoubtedly, the author touches upon the social problems in the novel "Neznayka on the Moon". The summary immediately shows how very different these worlds are - the world of Neznaika and the world of the inhabitants of the Moon. In addition to purely external differences - small plants, smoking factories, skyscrapers and television - there are significant internal ones.

So, being in a strange world, Dunno became hungry and decided to go and eat in the first cafe that came across. And when the short man ate, the waiter began to demand money from him, but Neznayka did not have them, moreover, he did not even know what it was. So our hero found himself in a catacomb. Here there was a system for sorting prisoners, for example, by the size of the nose, head, height, etc. After all the measuring procedures, Neznaika was mistaken for a wanted recidivist thief.

Here, in the katalazhke, Neznayka learns what money is, studies the basics of survival in a capitalist society. The cellmate tells him about the Foolish Island, where all violators of the law refer, and where no one comes back. Our hero, in turn, talks about his homeland and giant plants, but no one believes him.

Immediately, Neznayka is friends with Kozlik. Together they are released. Before the release of the Mig, one of the prisoners, asks them to give a letter to somebody in the wild. Kozlik and Dunno go to the owner of the shop Julio, to whom the message is addressed. As a result, Mig, Julio, Kozlik and Dunno conceive the joint stock company of giant plants. They are going to sell the shares in order to build a missile on the proceeds and take the seeds from the lunar surface. At least, that's what Neznayka thinks.

Bankruptcy of the Company

Continue to retell the summary of Nosov ("Dunno on the Moon"). Dunno show on television and represent an astronaut, of course, everything is done in order to sell shares. They are bought only by the poor, spending the last savings. The company begins to be interested in the industrial magnate Sprutts, it is unprofitable for the poor to obtain seeds of giant plants. It can bankrupt him. Then Sprutz decides to offer the founders a bribe. At the same time he does not give his money, but those that the rich men of the Moon have collected. Julio and Mig immediately agree, but do not tell anything to Neznayka and Kozlik. Soon the public will learn about the escape of the two founders and the bankruptcy of the Society. Because of this Neznayka and Kozlik have to flee to another city.

Duratsky Island

With many new troubles, Neznayka on the Moon is facing. The summary tells about wanderings of the hero and Kozlik - they have to spend the night in cheap hotels, more similar to prisons (with fleas, cockroaches and bugs). There is not enough money, and they undertake any work. Goat begins to ache. Neznaika has to work and take care of another. The hero walks the dogs, but loses his job when the hostess learns that he took them to a horrible hotel, where Neznayka and Kozlik lived. As a result, friends are under the bridge, as there is no money left for the hotel. They are arrested and sent to the Foolish Island.

At first, friends decided that they were perfectly arranged. But later Neznayka noticed that Kozlik was gradually turning into a sheep.

The Adventures of the Donut

Quite interesting and unlike each other created the characters of N. Nosov ("Dunno on the Moon"). The summary now takes us back to the beginning of the work, but this time we learn about the adventures of Donut. After Neznaika disappeared, Donut remained on the rocket until the food ran out, and then went in search of a friend.

He falls into the moon and finds himself on the beach, where there is a lot of salt, but the inhabitants do not use it. Donut bases his business - begins to sell salt, and quickly grows rich. But other rich people begin to reduce the price of salt, and Donut is ruined. As a result, he is forced to perform hard work - to twist the ferris wheel.

Decoupling

The book "Neznayka on the Moon" comes to an end, the brief content of which we have almost discussed. Now the narrative is transferred to Earth. Finding that the rocket is not there, Znayka is building another rocket, and shorties are sent to the Moon. The spacecraft gets inside the Earth satellite. Here, the inhabitants of the Flower City learn about the Society and give away seeds for free, in the meantime they try to find Dunno with Donut.

Shorty people give out to the poor the weightlessness devices as protection from the police. Workers' uprisings begin around. Donut, hearing about the astronauts, goes to them. After this, it is possible to save Neznayka from the Duratsky Island.

Sprutts and Julio explode a rocket of earthlings, but shorties get to the surface of the Moon, where the first rocket was, and fly home.

Thus ends the summary of the story "Neznayka on the Moon".
