Movalis: tablets and other dosage forms of the drug

The drug "Movalis" (tablets) is indicated for symptomatic therapy of osteoarthritis (degenerative joint diseases, arthrosis), ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis. With these diseases, the drug is prescribed and in the form of suppositories (suppositories). Injections "Movalis" is used at the initial stages of pain syndrome therapy, with short-term symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis, arthritis (rheumatoid), ankylosing spondylitis. Injections are for intramuscular administration only. The use of injections is shown during only the first two to three days of treatment. The maximum dose per day is fifteen milligrams of the solution for injections "Movalis".

Contraindications practically all are uniform for all forms of a medicine.

The drug is not prescribed for hypersensitivity to the components, the presence of symptoms of bronchial asthma, angioedema, urticaria due to the use of acetylsalicylic acid or NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), with polyps of the nose.

In complicated cases of taking an increased dose of Mawalisa, drowsiness, vomiting, confusion, epigastric pain, nausea, disturbances of blood pressure, gastrointestinal bleeding, and stopping of breathing are possible . The likelihood of the development of various side effects is related to the volume of the applied dose and the duration of administration of the drug. In this regard, experts recommend using the medication as possible for a short period at the lowest dosage.

With the combined use of various forms of the drug "Movalis" the daily dose should not exceed 15 mg. At the same time, control over the functions of the kidneys is mandatory.

Special clinical studies related to the effect of the drug on the ability to manage mechanisms and transport have not been conducted. However, the appointment should take into account the ability of this drug to cause drowsiness and dizziness, which involves a refusal for the period of therapy from engaging in activities related to concentration.
