Meditation before bedtime - a remedy for insomnia

Perhaps, many resort to such a means of struggle with insomnia as meditation before going to bed, they themselves do not even guess.

Meditation is the concentration, the immersion in the essence of the object, the concentration of thinking with an understanding of what is happening inside of us. Due to this, the power of the mind increases, and, consequently, the person's ability to control his psychic energy is manifested. Each person depends on the outside world, on his moods, sooner or later disappointment and dissatisfaction come. The wisdom of life is to learn to address what is not subject to change, which develops a person's ability to draw inspiration and happiness within himself.

When we look at the beauty of nature, we calm down, relax, the bustle of thoughts disappears, we are encompassed by a sense of pacification, a close connection with nature. Many of us "freeze", watching the flames, the flow of water, floating clouds. This is immersion in yourself, inner concentration.

The same action on us has a starry sky, a majestic mountain landscape, finally, music. Composers have the ability to "internal listening". Meditation is based on repeated combinations of sounds - mantras, which help the meditator to fully immerse himself in, expanding the boundaries of consciousness. The body is in a state of absolute rest. A person is freed from all emotions, plunging into his own "I" (shikantaz - sitting meditation, training pure perception). The technique of deep meditation is now well studied.

Of course, the problems of insomnia, when drugs do not give the desired result, worry many. Meditation for sleep, conducted constantly and regularly, these problems will solve. But the ability to turn off the unorganized stream of consciousness, to sink into your inner world will help in solving other life problems.
