MBUK "Tambov Youth Theater": address, photo and reviews

MBKU "Tambov Youth Theater" is one of the youngest in our country. It was opened less than 10 years ago. But in this short period the theater became popular in its city.

About the theater

The city of Tambov celebrated the birth of the youth theater in 2009. It was then that it was created. The initiative of its opening belongs to the city committee on culture.

The troupe was recruited from the graduates of the Tambov State University of the Faculty of Performing Arts. In total, there are 25 actors in the theater now.

Artists are regular participants of various events and festivals of both urban and regional scale.

Tambov The youth theater not only shows performances, it organizes a number of interesting projects and festivals.

TMT, despite its youth, already has its own traditions and customs.

Projects

Tambov Youth Theater is the organizer of several interesting projects.

Among them is the theatrical and poetic performance "Brodsky Curtain". In the framework of the project poetry evenings are held, where artists read poetry of this brilliant poet, whom someone loves, and someone even hates.

The following project is called "Cinema: The Theater: The History of Russian Cinematography". In its framework, there are artistic and informative evenings. Artists tell the viewer how the cinema originated in Russia in the early 20th century. As at that time, the shooting took place. And also on the screen the frames from the films entering into a gold collection of a domestic cinema are shown.

The project "Cinema: The Theater: The Effect of Kuleshov". It is also an artistic and cognitive evening. His presenter will talk about the life of Lev Kuleshov, who was born in Tambov and was famous for having created VGIK, was the director and theoretician of cinema.

The project "Our Vysotsky". These are musical and literary evenings devoted to the work of Vladimir Semyonovich. Artists show the viewer all the events of V.Vysotsky's life in such a way as to give them an opportunity to look at everything with his eyes.

"Reading Chekhov." There is another very interesting project called. Literary evenings are held within its framework. Here, artists talk about the fate of this talented and multifaceted person, about how they represent him, reading his works. Several scenes from Anton Chekhov also sound from the stage during the evening.

"Viva, the Theater"!

Tambov Youth Theater since 2008 annually holds a festival. It is called "Viva, Theater!". The aim of the festival is to develop the theatrical creativity of young people and provide support to talented, promising young artists.

The participants of the festival judge the professional jury. And also children and students who have become winners of creative competitions.

Participants from different cities of our vast homeland come to the festival in the city of Tambov: Moscow, Samara, Elista, Eagle, Penza, Skopina, Vologda, Michurinsk and others.

In 2016 the festival was held in November. During these few days the audience saw 16 wonderful performances performed by different bands.

The performances, which are shown at the festival, were shown both in the classical works of such dramatists as P. Bomarshe, G. Andersen, A.S. Pushkin, and the plays of contemporary writers. There were no restrictions in this regard for the participants.

Every year, professional theater companies, student amateur studios, children's theaters, students of theatrical schools and universities come to the festival every year.

The winners were awarded at the solemn ceremony. Now the theater is already beginning preparations for the new festival, already in 2017, and hopes that it will take place and participants will, as always, a lot.

The festival is held with the support of the administration of the city of Tambov, as well as the Committee for Culture.

Reviews

The audience leaves only positive reviews about the theater. They say that the productions here are interesting, and the artists are wonderful, professional, talented, they put their soul into their work.

Many residents of the city have become regular viewers, loyal fans of TMT. They go to the theater with families, with parents, children, spouses, friends, bring their guests who come from other cities.

The fact that there are no bad plays in the repertoire is encouraging to the viewer. All the performances are based on works of deep meaning, good humor, without vulgarity, malice, aggression. There is something to ponder, laugh, cry. Very well the theater puts children's tales. Even restless toddlers watch them with open mouth and without stirring. Fairy tales here are very kind, instructive.

For young spectators, before the performances start and during the intermission there are wonderful animators who entertain children, play with them, dance, amuse and entertain. Some parents, in order to accustom the kids to the theater, first lead them only to play, and then to the shows.

The audience considers the theater very promising.
