Like every fairy tale by Andersen, this plot encodes the idea of the power of love, capable of conquering any evil. In each of the seven chapters, Gerda shows self-sacrifice and generosity, which become the guarantee of her future path to her goal.

The independent life of the "Snow Queen"

For the history of its existence, the tale survived dozens of adaptations. In addition, she inspired other authors to create original works.
