How to prepare vegetable rolls correctly

Japanese cuisine is very popular these days. All over the world, people are happy to eat sushi and rolls, cooked in a variety of ways. Rolls with vegetable filling

If you change the classic composition of the filling a little, you can get quite interesting vegetable rolls. In this case, you will need: 200 grams of rice and the same amount of Adyghe cheese, 1 avocado, 5 grams of salt, 2 glasses of water, cucumber, half a pod of Bulgarian pepper and 4 nori leaves.

Such rolls are prepared in the usual way:

  1. First, rice should be poured into a pan, and then pour it with water, add salt and cook for 20 minutes, until all the liquid has boiled out. The finished product should cool down gradually. This will take 1-2 hours.
  2. The remaining ingredients should be carefully cut into strips with a thickness of not more than 5 millimeters.
  3. On the table spread the mat and put a sheet of pressed algae on it.
  4. Half the entire surface of the nori is covered with rice. To rolls then do not crumble, it must be properly tampered.
  5. On the one hand put part of the prepared filling.
  6. Raise the edge of the mat and, with fingers, tightly twist the products into a roll. Do not turn it too tight. In this case, the sheet can not stand and tear. Leave for gluing 3 centimeters, and neatly cut off the rest of the nori with a sharp knife. In this form, the blank must lie for at least 10 minutes.
  7. Align the edges with a knife, and then divide the remaining part of the roll into 6 identical parts.

These rolls are usually served with soy sauce, pickled ginger and wasabi.

Spring Rolls

How else are the vegetable rolls prepared? The recipe can differ not only in the composition of the filling. For example, of fine rice pancakes make wonderful "spring rolls". To do this, you need the following set of products: several rice pancakes, vegetables (carrots, cucumber, Chinese cabbage, sweet pepper, green onions, avocado, coriander), a tablespoon of sesame seeds, soy sauce, several "Tabasco" drops, as well as sesame and olive butter.

The cooking process involves several successive steps:

  1. Vegetables cut into strips (not too thin) and put them in a bowl. Add seeds, sauce of tobacco and butter. To taste the filling was more spicy, you can enter a few drops of lemon juice. The products must be mixed well.

The following components will be needed: on 15 sheets of the ready-made dough "filo" 300 grams of sprouted beans, 2 carrots, half a head of cabbage, 2 sweet peppers, 1 zucchini, a little vinegar for sushi and olive oil.

The method of preparing such rolls, in principle, remains the same:

  2. Add both products in one dish, pour vinegar and put for marinating for at least a couple of hours.

  4. Cabbage thinly crumble.
  5. Zucchini cut into thin, thin strips.
  6. Spread the dough on the cutting board.

Mexican rolls

Using recipes of Mexican cuisine, you can also prepare a delicious vegetable roll. The photo of the ready-made dish looks very appetizing. The following products are used for preparation: 1 tortilla, 10 grams of sweet pepper, 50 grams of soft processed cheese, 5 grams of chili sauce, and if desired, you can add a little tomatoes, Iceberg salad, Crimean onions and Salsa sauce.

The dish is prepared very quickly:

  1. The first step is to mix the chili sauce with the cheese well.
  2. The received mass to smear a cake.
  3. Carefully cut all the vegetables into thin strips and place them in the center of the tortilla.
  4. Roll the cake into a roll, and then cut it into portions.

Usually such rolls are served together with the traditional Salsa sauce for Mexicans. It can be purchased in advance from the store or prepared by yourself.
