How to make an adapter for motoblocks with your own hands?

Processing your land is very difficult. Therefore, in order to facilitate their own lives, many owners acquire special equipment. Motoblock - one of the most popular types of vehicles. But even he will not save, if there are no additional adaptations. Of course, everything can be purchased at the store. But in order to save financial investments, you can make the same adapter for motoblocks with your own hands. This requires a little knowledge, a simple set of tools and materials.

The concept of an adapter

Before asking how to make an adapter for a motoblock, you need to have a clear understanding of what it is. It represents a special design, which allows you to ride on a motoblock. Thanks to its presence, you can no longer follow the technique, but manage it sitting behind.

The adapter does not interfere with working with other devices (plow, sandwich, hillrock and so on). On the contrary, it speeds up the work. At the same time, the speed of operation is approximately doubled.

Device module

The adapter allows you to make a mini tractor from a motoblock. Among its main elements are:

• Ramu. All other details are attached to it.

• Axle with wheels. Wheels can be metal and rubber coated. The first option is suitable only for working in the garden. The presence of a rubber protector allows you to move even on a dirt road.

• Trailing device. It is necessary for connecting the motor block with the trailer equipment.

• The driver's seat. It allows you to comfortably sit while working.

A special design is used to control the unit. Depending on its design, the adapters are divided into two categories:

• With the steering wheel, which is represented by a separate node. Between the adapter and motoblock a rigid coupling is organized .

• Control is by changing the angle between the adapter and the motor block. In this case, the joint is mobile.

The adapter for the motor block with the steering wheel is more difficult to make. But with a moving joint it is much more difficult to control machinery.

Required materials and tools

You can make an adapter for motoblocks with your own hands from the following materials:

• Metal profile, channel.

• Steel sheet for making a stand under the feet.

• Metal corner.

• Wheels (2 pcs.).

• Fastening elements (bolts, nuts).

Making an adapter for motorized blocks with your own hands, tools should be taken with a welding machine, a Bulgarian and other hand tools (wrenches, hammer and so on).

Manufacturing process

When you build a homemade adapter for a motoblock, a drawing is simply necessary. You can draw it yourself if you have skills in this area. If not, a suitable scheme can be selected from the ones already available. Before you start, it's best to check all the numbers indicated there. One of the options is shown in the figure below.

The preparation of the adapter begins with the preparation of the frame. For this, the metal elements are cut off by the Bulgarian in the dimensions indicated in the drawing. Connect the elements by welding or using bolts.

Then proceed to the running gear. If the motor block motor is located in front, the wheels are attached taking into account the width of the track of the base wheels. The wheel axle is made of a metal pipe. On the edges are mounted bushings and bearings, on which the wheels are mounted.

In the case of a rear engine location, the track should be slightly wider. Otherwise the motoblock will not be able to balance normally during operation. The best option is to install a wider bridge on the motoblock.

As a helm you can leave the handle from the motor block. The second option - to install the steering column, taking the necessary elements from the motorcycle.

The seat can be removed from the car. And you can weld something like a bench from metal corners and attach on top of the board. In the first case, a sled must be welded to the frame.

Working with attachments will help the hydraulic system and a special bracket (for example, to work with a plow). You may need a towbar if you plan to attach a semi-trailer.

Coupling is made according to the scheme shown in the figure below.

Selection of suitable variant

It is not difficult to assemble the adapter for motoblocks with your own hands. But for this it is necessary to choose the right equipment option. Adapters can have a different design. In simple terms, they can be simple (for movement) and complex (for soil cultivation). And there are universal, which allow and process the soil, and transport cargo.

In addition, the choice of adapter depends on the power of the equipment. If the motoblock has high power, it will be able to work with a long-haul adapter. Conversely, at a low power, only a short one will do.

Homemade adapter for motoblock will be by its characteristics no worse than bought in the store. With his functions he will cope perfectly well. And it will cost much cheaper than the factory one.
