Maternity capital is an additional measure of state support for families with 2 or more children. The right to receive it has families in which the second (or subsequent) baby has appeared since the beginning of 2007.

In addition, it is necessary to provide:

The maternity capital for construction, or rather its means, can be spent only after the child (for which it was received) will reach the age of 3 years. This restriction is withdrawn if these finances are sent to repay debts under a loan that was taken for the reconstruction, construction or purchase of a house.

If the maternity capital is spent not all, then its balance will be indexed in accordance with the growing inflation. In the future, it can be used for other purposes (education, accumulation of a mother's pension).
