Diplomatic passport - "green light" in foreign trips

Today, no one is surprised by the usual passport, because there are in some ways exotic passports that cause envy and respect among friends and acquaintances. Most of these documents have no special value, but still some people open their doors to other people who are closed to other citizens. Here is their diplomatic passport.

This is one of the most prestigious identity cards, which can only belong to a limited number of persons. The diplomatic passport of the Russian Federation is issued to the members of the Federation Council, diplomatic couriers and employees of the Foreign Ministry, deputies of the State Duma and, of course, to the president. The document is officially owned by the state, and not by the person to whom it was given, so upon expiration of the term of office the passport is returned to the organization that sent the citizen on a business trip, and the latter, in turn, returns the certificate of its employee to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The following data are entered into the diplomatic passport in English and Russian languages: name, nationality, date of birth, date of issue and expiry of the certificate, personal code and name of the issuing authority. Usually the passport is valid for no more than five years, if a person comes earlier, then within three days he must pass the certificate to the organization. In case the foreign travel is planned for more than five years, the passport is issued for the duration of the trip, but not more than ten years.

Before you receive a diplomatic passport, you need to collect and submit to the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation the following documents:

• A questionnaire that reflects all information about a citizen sent abroad;
• 4 photos of a certain sample;
• An account card with a photograph of the passport holder and a seal of the organization sending him to the foreign passport;
• Documents confirming the payment of consular services and passport form.

The consular fee and the cost of the form of the certificate are paid by the organization that sends the citizen on a business trip. The diplomatic passport is handed over to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the event that its validity period has expired, the appearance of the owner or information about him has changed, the contract between the holder of the certificate and the organization sending him abroad has been broken, circumstances appeared that restrict the citizen's right to leave the country, Owner of the document.

A diplomatic passport is also freely given to family members who travel abroad together with a seconded citizen of the Russian Federation if they live together and follow it. Many people wish to receive such a document, but it is intended for units. Its owners along with the certificate also receive diplomatic immunity.

When traveling, the passport greatly simplifies life, because when crossing the border, a green corridor is opened for its owner, and in case of any problems in a foreign country, the domestic consulate will react more quickly than in other cases.
