Types of temporary disability allowances for a pregnant woman and mother

1. If a woman registered in gynecology at the time of pregnancy - 12 weeks, then she receives a one-time benefit.

Under what conditions is the temporary disability benefit paid?

People who have insurance in case of disability can count on the temporary disablement allowance. Payments are made during pregnancy (70 days before delivery), and then after childbirth, but no more than 70 days. The charge that is made before the birth is summarized, and then given after delivery in the form of a lump sum.

When deciding to adopt one or several children under the age of three months, the payment of benefits occurs from the moment of the birth of the child to the expiration of 70 days.

The disablement allowance is assigned when care is needed for a sick child in the following cases:

- If the child is younger than 7 years, then the monetary assistance is paid no more than 60 days in the period of being in an outpatient or in-patient hospital with the mother. If the disease is included in a special list of diseases, the benefit is paid for a period not exceeding 90 days;

- if the age of the child is from 7 to 15 years, the payment of the allowance is made for 15 days of stay in outpatient treatment or a general stay with the child in the hospital, but not more than 45 days per year;

- When caring for a disabled child, whose age is less than 15 years, the payment of money occurs no more than 120 days of outpatient or in-patient treatment with the mother.

How to calculate temporary disability allowance

If the length of service (insurance) is more than 8 years, the amount of cash accruals will be 100% of the salary. When the length of service (insurance) is an average of 7 years, the amount of cash assistance is 80% of the salary. If the length of service (insurance) is less than 5 years, then the amount of assistance will be 60% of wages.

The maternity allowance is paid in the amount of 100% of the salary.

With temporary incapacity for work, namely, in the event of an injury or some illness, the payment of benefits is 60% of the average wage.

Payment of benefits when caring for a sick child

At treatment in a hospital payments are made depending on the term of the seniority. In case of outpatient treatment, payment is made for the first 10 days, over the next days the allowance is calculated at 50% of the average salary.

The conditions under which the temporary disablement allowance can be reduced

- If the injury or disease occurred due to the actions in alcoholic or narcotic intoxication.

-If the insured person did not appear at the medical examination at the appointed time without good reason.

- If the insured person has violated the regime that was prescribed by the doctor.
