How is white eggplant cooked? This product is not subjected to special heat treatment. It is boiled, stewed and baked in exactly the same way as its "blue" fellow.

The only difference between these vegetables is that the white eggplant does not contain solanine. In this regard, it does not bitter, and there is no need to soak it in salt water.

So how to cook white eggplants? Recipes using this product may be different. We will tell you how to make a quick snack from this vegetable and roll it up for the winter.

White eggplants: cooking recipes

Surely everyone tried to fry the eggplant in a frying pan. This dish can serve as an excellent snack not only for lunch, but for a festive table. However, in the latter case, we recommend additionally using garlic sauce and fresh tomatoes. Only in this way you will surprise the guests with a very tasty, beautiful and fragrant snack.

So how should you fry white eggplants? To do this, you need to purchase the following products:

  • Eggplants of small sizes of white color - about 2-3 pcs .;
  • Salt fine, black pepper - use to your liking;
  • Flour wheaten - about 2/3 cup (for crumbling vegetables);
  • Mayonnaise olive - about 3 large spoons;
  • Vegetable oil - at the discretion;
  • Sour cream thick fat - 2 large spoons;
  • Garlic teeth average - 2 pcs .;
  • Hard cheese (you can take any variety) - about 80 g;
  • Small fleshy tomatoes - 4-5 pcs .;
  • Fresh greens (parsley leaves) - use for decoration.

  • Drinking water - about 1 liter;
  • White sugar - 2 large spoons.

Preparation of vegetables and marinade

You can use any aubergines to prepare the winter billet. We decided to buy white vegetables. They are thoroughly washed and shredded in circles 1 cm thick. Next, they clean the cloves of garlic and crush them with a press. By combining both vegetables in one container, they are hindered. After this, they begin to prepare marinade.

In a large saucepan boil a mixture of water and sunflower oil, where further add the fine salt and white sugar. After removing the dishes from the fire, table vinegar is spread to its contents.

The process of preparing the winter billet

Once the marinade and the main vegetables are prepared, they begin to form a snack. To do this, in 750 g of jar spread circles of aubergines with garlic and immediately fill them with a fragrant boiling marinade, not reaching the edges of the container 2 cm.

Covering the dishes with a lid, put it in an enamel basin with water and bring to a boil. In this form, the winter snack is sterilized for ¼ hour. After a lapse of time, the marinade is added to it (right up to the top) and immediately rolled up.

Completely cooling the workpiece from white eggplant, it is sent to the pantry. To get a more flavorful and rich dish, the vegetables are kept in a dark place for 25-30 days. After this time, you can safely present the snack to your family members.

What else can you cook dishes from white eggplant? Recipes using this vegetable can be different. If you want to make a full dinner to the festive table, then we suggest baking this product in the oven.
