How to make a cookie?

From the rolled up dough we cut out the shape of little men and bake until ready. After that you can make glaze and decorate ready-made cookies.

Variations in the recipe

Some components can be replaced. For example, to take vegetable oil instead of cream, and instead of soda add baking powder. But ginger should be present in any case. Mix sugar, cinnamon and cardamom.

Then mix sugar with spices, flour and egg with butter. The dough should be rather dense, but not steep, otherwise the product will be harsh and quickly stale.

Put small balls of dough on a greased baking sheet. Alternatively, you can roll out the dough to small cakes and make them curly edges.

Bake for 15-20 minutes. However, if you make balls, they should be in the oven a little longer to completely bake.

If you want, cover the finished products with glaze, sugar pearls and chocolate. If you strictly follow the recipe, they will be almost unsweetened. Therefore, chocolate and icing are essential. You can change the amount of sugar, proportionally increasing the number of other components.
