Flowers Hortensia are very common, they can be found more often on the backyard, but they also grow well in the room. Indoor flowers hydrangeas are designed specifically for growing in a confined space, but with proper care they have flowers no less lush and beautiful than those grown outdoors.

Basic rules of care

The most beautiful flowers hydrangea has in the first year of flowering. Then they gradually become smaller, and the shoots stretch out considerably, causing the flower to lose its attractiveness. In order for you to enjoy these flowers longer, you must annually rejuvenate the plant.

Like any indoor plant, hydrangeas requires compliance with lighting conditions, maintaining a comfortable temperature and optimum humidity, timely and sufficient watering. To the hydrangea flowers were lush and blossomed for a long period, the plant needs to create comfortable conditions. Despite the fact where the plant will be grown, there are the following stages of its development: forcing, beginning of flowering and cuttings, then flowering and, finally, a rest period. For a full-fledged development of the plant, it is necessary to keep the temperature around 18-22 degrees, when the plant is in a rest period, the temperature should be reduced to approximately 8 degrees. Since hydrangea loves light, it is better to place it in an apartment on the south or east side.

This plant likes a good watering, but in the conditions of the room it is not necessary to over-wet the soil. For irrigation, it is better to take soft water, since a hard hydrangea suffers very poorly. In winter, it is best to use melt water. It is necessary to maintain the humidity by conducting periodic spraying of the plant.

For more intensive growth and flowering, the plant should be fed twice a month. To do this, use mineral and organic fertilizers. Ammonium nitrate and superphosphate are well added during flowering, as they stimulate it.

The most common method of propagation of hydrangeas is the division of the bush, while the house varieties are propagated by the method of propagation. On the cuttings, which is chosen for reproduction, there should be two or three pairs of leaves. For good rooting, planted cuttings are sufficient for 20 days, but such a plant will only bloom for the next year. When multiplying the garden hydrangeas, you can get it to bloom in the first year.

Plant the plant best after it was cut off, and passed a period of rest. Cuttings, which are well established, must necessarily be transplanted.

- Hortensia paniculate is also a large bush and in nature can reach 5 meters in height. Many varieties of this species have a very pleasant smell, spreading such varieties as Kiushu, Color Symphony.

- Cuttings or curly hydrangeas can reach up to 25 meters in length, this plant feels well in the shade, while other varieties are light-loving. This grade is used for decoration of arbours and walls.
