Transmission

To maximize the potential of the engine is helped by a fundamentally new 6-speed transmission with optimized gear ratios, ideally suited to the character of the Yamaha MT-09. Coping with high torque at low revs allows a high gear ratio of 1.708. The gear ratios of all six speeds are also set to use the bike in daily conditions.

The muffler produces a pleasant sound, and its placement favorably contributes to the distribution of weight, which provides excellent handling and maneuverability.
