If the Tukay grapes are affected by an oidium, an ashy color develops on the shoots, which emits a smell of fish rot. Inflorescences in plants affected by the disease, dry up, berries crack. For prophylactic control of the pathogen, the vine is treated with a 3% solution of copper sulfate at the beginning of the growing season and preferably in two stages.

When dealing with an already developed disease, it is also necessary to cut the affected vine. Those who want to receive organic products, in this case the Tukay grapes, experts advise treating plants with infusion of hay. For its preparation use one part of the hay, add three parts of rainwater (in no case you can use tap water!). The mixture is insisted for two days in the dark in a warm place. Then the composition is filtered using a rare cloth, bred in three parts of water and sprayed with this infusion of grapes Tukay. And the treatment must be carried out in the evening, since sunlight is disastrous for this remedy. Spray plants with this infusion should be regularly.

Mildew treatment
