Educational activity: reasons for its inefficiency

The need for reforms in the field of education arose with the realization that the educational activities of many institutions do not give the proper effect and after school students and students remain exactly with the same baggage of knowledge with which they came. In order to get to know this problem more closely, it is necessary to get acquainted with the concept of educational activity, its components and implementation in the modern education system.

Educational activity is one of the most important and basic activities of each person, the result of which is the development of new skills. It consists of such components as the educational task, the learning activity, the control action and the evaluation action. In fact, these concepts are the algorithm by which learning takes place. Many educators have devoted years of research on the question of how best to present information to students, so that they can be fully absorbed and could be subsequently applied in practice. The main trend that they derived was that it is easier to teach them among peers. In this case, people of the same age group do not just have to be in the room at the same time, but also interact with each other. It is their cooperation that will lead to the achievement of high results in the assimilation of information and its application in practice. For this reason, students' learning activities are often associated with holding seminars or trainings, where they can learn new skills and knowledge while studying them together with their colleagues. In school, in the junior classes, it is obvious to see the confirmation of this statement in the lessons built on the principle of the game. It is interesting that the teacher should not actively interfere in the educational process, but only manage it, approving the correct finds of his students and correcting their knowledge.

The traditional system of training has proved to be not very effective. Since during all the years of study, teaching takes place in the same way. It is interesting that the age criterion of students, neither sexual, nor social, nor their psychotypes is taken into account. In fact, teachers are only in a more or less accessible form of information to students, which also did not change for many years, despite numerous metamorphoses in the world and society. In other words, there is no development of thinking. Develop memory, speech, but not thinking, not the ability to build logical connections between events and people, there is no thirst for knowledge.

The standard set of subjects that a student must learn during the years of training does not contribute to his personal growth. The development of talents in him, which in the end could become his profession. If a student has a clearly expressed interest in the humanities, but the ability to master technical disciplines below the average, it is still necessary to strengthen his strengths, rather than forcibly impose on him information that remains on the threshold of the institution on the day of its release from there.

Some teachers believe that higher educational activity is an independent educational activity. The knowledge that the student has received on his own will be more valuable to him. But this does not mean that you can give him the tasks and finish the training on this. On the contrary, the teacher should develop from the student the desire to independently search for answers to questions, to learn more than what they can give him for several academic hours. To awaken interest in the subject in it, you can change the standard reading of lectures and homework assignments, to non-standard lessons that would affect the interests of the student himself. They gave him the opportunity to feel part of the process, his full participant, whose opinion is no less important than the teacher's.
