The original monument was erected in the town square named after Vasily Sobin in 2012. Thus, the city residents honored the memory of rocket builders. The monument was unveiled symbolically on the day of the 80th anniversary of the signing of the order to put into operation the first airships, the assembly of which is glorified Dolgoprudny. Today, the rocket monument occupies one of the honorable places in the list of the main sights of the city.
Theater "Gorod"

The famous church was built in the distant 1893. The project was developed by the famous architect Nikolai Sultanov. The temple is a complex of wooden buildings on a stone foundation, decorated in an old Russian style.
In 1911 the area around the temple was expanded. Here, schools and dwelling houses for ministers, a hospital, farm buildings, stables, cells for monks were erected.
How to get to Dolgoprudny?
You can get here by bus. From Moscow to Dolgoprudny follows public transport on routes 546 and 572. Buses in the directions submitted depart from the metro station Altufevo. The final destination is a stop called "Dolgoprudnaya Platform". If the road is lucky enough not to get into the traffic jam, the road will take some 50 minutes.
As for the trip by car, the most logical option is to turn off the Moscow Ring Road towards Likhachevskoye Highway. Then it is enough to stick to the main road. Having reached Patsayev Avenue, you can enter directly into Dolgoprudny. Travel time for a trip on private transport will be no more than 40 minutes, provided there are no congestion on the roads.
