How to cut out the image in Photoshop and paste it onto another background

At work with the program "Photoshop" it is necessary to work with the image more often. It is used if you need to correct something in the photos, take only a part of the picture for later use in another image, as well as for other purposes.

Before you cut, in "Photoshop" open the photo you want. To do this, select File -> Open. In the window that opens, select the required image.

Particular attention should be paid to the fact that in the "File type" there is a huge list of supported formats. When you select a specific one (for example, gif), all variants of this extension will be displayed. Therefore, if you know that the file should be in a folder of a certain type, but it is not there, then you have chosen the wrong extension.

How to cut out an image in Photoshop

Suppose we have such pictures. We want the girl to stand on the beach. We need:

- create a file for the new image;

- put photos of the girl and the sea on different layers of the file;

- Cut in the "Photoshop" picture girl, for this it must be selected;

- Add credibility to the new image.

We will analyze everything step by step.

Processing photos in "Photoshop" begins with the opening of a new file. We create two layers: one is called "girl", and the other is "sea". To give a name to a picture, you need to specify the desired name in the opened parameters window.

At the moment, the program has three files: a girl, a sea and a new one, just opened. And the latter is active.

In it on the "sea" layer we have this picture. For this you need:

1. Make the window with this image active (click on it).
2. Select the image by selecting Select -> All and press the Ctrl + A keys. A dotted frame appears around it.
3. Copy the image with the Ctrl + C combination. Now make the working window active by clicking on it and paste Ctrl + V. Finally, on the "sea" layer we get the same picture.

Now let's look at how to cut out a photo of a girl in Photoshop. This program provides several tools for selecting images.

We will use two: "Lasso" and "Quick selection".

Click the left mouse button on the second tool, the selection window opens: "Quick selection" and "Magic wand".

We choose the second option. If this tool is clicked on any pixel in the layer, adjacent pixels of the same color are selected.

In the options pane, select the following values:

- in the field "Tolerance" you can set the values from 0 to 255. When setting 0, only one hue is selected. If you set 24, then the tools will select pixels in the range of 12 shades lighter and 12 shades darker than the color;

- tick the "Smoothing" window to ensure that the edges of the borders are smooth;

- select adjacent pixels;

- remove the check mark for "Sample all layers".

Now click the tool on the picture of the girl, she stands out.

The selected image will not have an ideal shape, we will finalize it later. At this stage, only a contour is needed.

Before you cut, in "Photoshop" Delete All superfluous. Select the command in the menu: "Selection" -> "Inversion". Now the whole area around the girl will be highlighted. On the keyboard, press the Del key and get our carved girl against the sea.
