Cultivation of a tree in a garden plot

Is it easy to grow bush? Dereza vulgaris excels in almost all conditions. And before you engage in the cultivation of derevy, you should consider that it is easier to grow than to later get rid of it. This unpretentious plant, which perfectly suits on semi-saline and insufficiently moistened soils, quickly and successfully grows, displacing neighbors to win a large area. Therefore, it is better to plant it on vacant lots, along ditches and roads, gardens or apiaries.

Dereza vulgaris equally well reproduces both cuttings and seeds. In the first case, one- or two-year-old shoots are used, each having 3-4 kidneys and a length of 10-15 cm, which are first grown in a greenhouse soil consisting of a mixture of peat and sand. The drop is immersed in the soil to a depth of 5 cm, while the lowest bud should be sprinkled with earth. For germination of seeds, surface sowing is used. To achieve the best result, seeds should be placed in warm water for two days, then treated with a solution of potassium permanganate and planted in the ground. During the germination of seeds, it is necessary to maintain a constant humidity.

In early spring, in adult plants, it is necessary to cut out approximately one third of the old shoots under the root. Watering an ordinary tree should be done only during rooting or in a hot dry summer, because it does not like too much moisture.
